Strong smelling but seemed to help
This did help our pup with her demodex, however, she did end up needing a treatment of Bravecto to bring it under control. The product is very strong smelling, but not unpleasant. If you have someone who is allergic to scent it could be a problem. Overall a good option to try before turning to treatments that are dangerous or caustic.

Gave Us Our Lives Back!
This product is truly amazing! Take it from someone who has spent $4200 on their dog in the last 5 months! My dog is a Karelian Bear Dog/Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever. I received him as a 3 week old pup who's mother quit feeding the litter. He was a happy baby puppy, then when he turned 4 months, he started losing his fur. We took him to a local vet who said he was allergic to cedar. Removed the cedar from his doghouse, it continued to get worse. Took him to another vet, was told he was allergic to corn. Changed diet. Took him to specialist dermatologist vets, 3 hours away... Twice. Getting full panels done on blood, kidneys, liver, allergy tests etc. Changed food to gluten, wheat and corn free, thus his dog food was over $100 for 17lbs. Not lasting him very long. I was then told by a close friend her dog had similar issues and that it may be demodex. So I searched. We did the high dollar $150-$400 treatments. Took him to the vet every week for treatment etc. Nothing helped but made him sick, lethargic and he rapidly lost weight. My baby is only 20lbs and is supposed to be 40+ (both parents are 80-130lbs) and he's only 8 months. I came across Dogs N Mites. I went back and forth on it for about a month because the labeling looks like it'll be something cheap and wont work.... Finally ordered 2 bottles of the shampoo and a bottle of the conditioner (since they're only 6oz, I knew a single bottle wouldn't last long). Hes had 4 baths since we received the items. I do his shampoo and conditioner baths every two days. Shampoo stays on for 10 mins and same with the conditioner. He is starting to grow his fur back, starting to eat AND PLAY!! We haven't been able to play with him, love on him etc for months because he was always bleeding from scratching too much. I will GLADLY recommend this shampoo, as I've tried over 10 others and nothing has worked but this. We will be purchasing more and keeping him on a weekly regiment after his symptoms subside (demodex remains on the dog for its life, so any bit of stress or trauma the dog has, can cause a flare up of mites - usually subsides by 2 years old, but can reoccur when they're older).Thank You SOO much Dogs N Mites! Gave us our lives back!!

smells good
It's too early to say it is good or bad. the shampoo seems to help but need more time to see if the itching slows down. Will review again when I finish the bottle. It does make the fur soft and smells really good.

Perfect combination--effective, safe, natural, and perfectly nice
My young dog had the worst demodectic mange that covered his body from head to toe. He was really sick. I started with the vet's gold standard Ivermectin but after 6-8 months, I wanted something less miserable for him. I used benzoyl peroxide shampoos every day and built his immune system with vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, and various natural internal and external remedies. I tried just about everything and he looked and felt better but after a year, he still had it confined to his back end. I tried Dogs n Mites because there was a guarantee and I hadn't tried it yet. I never expected it to cure him for good and I certainly never expected to love the way it made his coat glossy and healed his skin. Over 6 months, I invested around $700 of shampoo, conditioner, and spray, as he is a big dog and needed daily baths, which I titrated off slowly over 6 months. It was very expensive but it was the only product that worked and which we both liked. My dog would come running for the spray--it helped sooth the sores without stinging. This stuff is amazing--the perfect combination of natural ingredients. I highly recommend it.

Great addition to the Dog n Mites Shampoo
We recently adopted a dog with full body demodectic mange.... she was completely hairless when we picked her up. She was receiving Ivermectin orally for treatment (which we continued at home for a while) and the shelter mentioned that she was receiving frequent treatment baths, but didn't recommend anything in particular to use. I originally picked up a different shampoo that seemed okay, but she still had a lot of itchy spots and I went looking for an anti-itch cream, when I came across this product. I purchased the whole line (shampoo/condition/therapeutic spray) and could not be happier. This seems to work much better than the previous shampoo and smells better, not great, but very tolerable. She has over half her hair back now (we have had her for 2 months) and this has really reduced the redness of her skin. I bathe her about 3-4 times a week, depending on our schedule. I really like that this product line has a conditioner, it has really helped to not only soften up her fur, but her skin as well. She initially had quite a few black scabby areas and this has healed them nicely. I would definitely recommend this.

Mites cleared up in two weeks
We brought home a shelter cat who had fleas, which transferred to our dog. While we were working to get the fleas cleared up the dog was constantly licking herself, which led to yeast infection, which led to a mange mite infestation. Her skin was very red and irritated and she was losing hair in large patches. We tried several different shampoos before this one and none really provided her with relief like this one did. After bathing and drying, her skin would be less red/irritated, almost immediate relief. Within about a week (we bathed her every other day) her hair was starting to grow back. I think we used this product for a total of two weeks along with the conditioner before everything cleared up. It has been several months now and we have not had anymore issues.

Then I used it as a rinse after shampooing and it worked much better. Also
I was surprised at how thick it was and difficult to measure out with a squirming wet dog in the middle of bathtime. So I squirted some into a cup of warm water and stirred well before the bath. Then I used it as a rinse after shampooing and it worked much better. Also, the smell wasn't as strong.
