Keep your drink cold, colder then you ever thought possible
So I bought these as a gift because the person I got it for would always like to chill his glass in the freezer except that was causing the glasses to break. He was running out of frosted glasses. I saw these after looking for special glasses you can keep frozen.I bought two. However I had to send one back because it was obvious the liquid on the inside had leaked out at some point and after talking to the company that makes them they instructed me to send it back after I measured where the liquid level was at. (While upside down and thawed out the liquid should be above the inside of the glass's bottom) Unfortunately they have been sold out for a while so still waiting on them to get another one in. The only complaint he has really is that if it isn't liquor, such as any fruit juice type drink or something, then it will freeze up near the bottom and be like a slushy. As well as not having any cozies to hold it in to keep his hand from getting cold.I also ordered some Koolkup coffee and cold drink sleeve type things you can find here(http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001K51Z30/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5)unfortunately they are to large to fit most of the glass only the top part though you can always sew/glue more velcro parts onto it.Also another downside is you have to freeze it straight upside down at least that's whats recommended. So if you don't have a tall enough freezer or room you might not like this.It takes about a half an hour to an hour for it to freeze completely and supposedly keeps your drink really cold for at least a half an hour. So that's pretty good. But if your a person who likes a frosty glass as well as keeping drinks cold without watering them down with ice cubes this might be for you.Otherwise you might want to try out some stainless steel ice cubes you can also buy here "Franmara Stainless Steel Ice Cubes Deluxe - Set of 4"(http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0083RBXOY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2ELSJ63A1MJBA&coliid=I3A202ESBRQ1UZ)though iv never tried them so I cannot say if they work well or not but it is an option if you prefer it over watering down your drink with conventional ice cubes.Hope my review helped you in any way. From the looks of it these are quite popular so snag up some as soon as you see them in stock because when they are out of stock they tend to be out for weeks/months.

A must have
I have to say, this glass is just pure awesome. I use this thing almost daily and I wish I had more of them. Not only is it great as a beer glass, but this is an amazing product that will keep any drink cool while not having to worry about melting ice that will water your drink down. It is like pouring your beverage in to a glass made of ice. I had one of these I found in a department store a few months ago and it quickly became my favorite glass to use. Unfortunately, one day, my wife accidentally broke it and I think a piece of my heart broke with it (my witty humor). Even though I assured my wife that it was fine, she still went on Amazon right away and ordered me a new one. Within 2 days, I had my new one at my door. I eagerly opened the package and took it to the sink to hand wash it and then get it in the freezer. Within the hour my glass was iced up and ready for a pour. I highly recommend this glass to anyone that loves an ice cold beverage in an ice cold glass and doesn't want the hassel of a watered down drink. Keep in mind, there are special care instructions as it needs to be hand washed. Also, make sure that when you place it in the freezer, that you place it upside down. This will allow the liquid in between the glass to disperse properly, giving an even layer of ice from top to bottom. If you have been searching for that perfect glass, look no further, it is right here.

So far, so good.
I really like this glass so far. It'll bring a 50° beverage down to about 35°. And if it's already 38° or so, it'll actually turn to slush. Someone left a 1 star review because of this, I mean reall?!? But it's only good for about one-two drinks at a time, so if you wish to drink more than that, I'd recommen getting at least two. Only takes about an hour to recharge the glass. Also someone left a bad review because there's nothing to hold to so your hands get cold. Again, common sense here!!! So what I did, was take a neoprene coolzy and cut the bottom out of it so itd slide over the bottom, and up the glass. Works perfectly. No problems so far on durability, but only had it about a week.

Cold on the inside, Cold on the outside
Oh yes, it does make things cold. Make sure you freeze it with the rim down, like the instructions tell you to. The phase change liquid between the double glass walls works pretty well. A room temperature liquid is cooled nicely. A cool liquid starts to freeze on the inside of the glass, and a cold liquid will definitely lay down a temporary layer of frozen on the inside. Other than a "do not microwave" sticker on the glass (was that really necessary?) which can be removed, the class itself is clear and nice to the touch. The surface is smooth with nice curves. It will just hold a 12 ounce beer if there isn't too much head on it. So why did I give it only 3 stars? Because while I like the cold on the inside just fine, I really didn't care for how cold the outside of the glass got. If the room is at all humid you will get a layer of frost on the outside. That will eventually melt and leave water at the base of the glass. And before it does, the glass will be really cold to the touch. Too cold for my taste. Maybe with a glass-shaped coozie?

frosty martinis!
So you put it in the freezer, upside down, and then you have a icy cold, i mean icy cold martini. normally, my martini is hanging around in the glass long enough for me to worry about it getting warm, but i decided to perform the ultimate test. I didn't even shake my dirty gin martini with ice. I poured it all in the glass, then waited 5 mins (don't worry, i was already working on a different martini in another chilled glass) The martini was ice cold! The only negative is that my last olive is always a little frozen. WAAAAHHHH, my problems are terrible."only holds 4 oz". someone commented. Good grief man, how big of a martini do you want? or need? there is not limit, have at it.
