One of my babes has EXTREMELY sensitive skin. I use this on her bum because she has to always have a barrier or she gets a rash. This stuff goes on easy and saves me the messy creams!

Not just for little monkeys; this balm is great for big monkeys too! I recently went back on a retinoid to deal with a bad bout of adult acne and at about 4 weeks in, my skin has just about cleared up but my face is now pink, chapped and dry. Monkey Balm saved me the last time I went through this process and I was thrilled to be able to find it online on Amazon <3. Got it in the mail today and IMMEDIATE relief - my face feels so much better. Technically, you're advised to use oil-free moisturizers while on the medicine I'm using to avoid clogging up pores but I never had a problem with Monkey Balm breaking me out while I was on a retinoid in the past (though I do limit it to just the parts of my face that need it - mostly my cheeks and around my mouth). It swipes on easy, I don't find any need to warm it up, and it doesn't make me look like a greasy, hot-mess in front of my fiance. I do however, only use it on my face after I'm home from work or on days where I don't plan on going into the office or running errands since you can't wear makeup over it and I definitely need a bit of cover-up at this time. Great product with lots of use, even if you don't have children! I forgot how much I love this balm. You can use it on your lips, cuticles, anywhere on your body really for soft, healthy skin. It's not artificially scented but the Shea Butter definitely stands out, which is fine by me (though some people might not like that fragrance, which is a bit smokey). Definitely the best balm for dry, irritated skin out there! I highly recommend this.

There are probably betters creams or balms out there, but this one is working great for us. I realize it has less to do with the formula, and more to do with the cute monkey on the stick, but I don't care because its working!!My 2 year old daughter has had a red, dry rash on her cheeks for some time. It doesn't itch or seem to bother her, but it does flare up and I don't know what is causing it. Since its not bothering her, I haven't taken her to the doctor and have just tried to keep it moisturized. Being 2, this has been easier said than done! I have tried SEVERAL creams and lotion. I know none of them have hurt her, but she cries and squirms and just doesn't want me touching her cheeks. But, this super-cute monkey stick is going on great! I tell her we're putting on the "monkey balm" and make monkey sounds; she thinks its fun and no longer a choir that causes tears. The stick applicator is also great for us. Goes on her cheeks easily and she even likes to do it herself (which she applies to more than just her cheeks!). In the few days that we have been using it, the rash seems to be better...its certainly not dry, nor nearly as red. I don't know if it will cure her; I don't even expect it to as I don't know what is causing the red, dry patches in the first place. But, I do know its the easiest remedy I've tried and my daughter is very happy!Also, customer service was good. The stick arrived damaged as the wheel at the bottom of the tube did not advance the balm. I contacted the seller to request a replacement and they quickly sent one out. Defects happen, and they handled it very well.

Awesome! My 1 month old started getting a bad rash of some kind on her cheeks and we tried other balms and plain coconut oil. They only sort of worked. This stuff we saw improvement with in hours!!! Not sure if its eczema or milk rash or irritation from her constant spit up. But her cheeks were on the verge of getting raw. They were red, angry and felt like sand paper. In 24 hours of regularly applying this balm at feeding time (every 3 hours) her cheeks are 95% healed!! I know sea buckthorn is naturally anti inflammatory, i was counting on that to help. And if the makers use virgin coconut oil, that is also anti inflammatory. I even cut a chunk off the stick to put in a cosmetic jar for the diaper bag.

The media could not be loaded.  I e used this stuff before and it’s excellent for my eczema, unfortunately this tube I literally just bought on Amazon on 10/19 expired in November. Pretty disappointed for the price. I would have hoped I had a few months at least. *le sigh*

This was recommended by my doctor for relief from the scaling and itching of exema and psoriasis. It really does the trick and makes the patches of scaly skin less noticable. After a few weeks the lesions look even better from repeated use. It can be a little greasy, so use it lightly. I would buy this again and have recommended it to others and given some as gifts.

My 2 year old granddaughter had been suffering with redness,swelling, inflammation and irritation around her mouth for over 6 months. She saw her primary doctor and a dermatologist. Prescription steroids, antibiotics and non steroidal anti-inflammatory creams (all with their own horrible potential side effects for a 1 to 2 year old) helped initially but once they were stopped the problem continued. Looking for a natural alternative on Amazon I came across Monkey Balm and bought it. Although the results were slow (improvement over weeks), the results were amazing! When my little granddaughter pointed to her lips and said, "Monkey" when she wanted to put some on her lips, I knew we were on the right path. She willingly puts the Monkey Balm herself on her lips. It was a fight with every other prescription medication application! Her lips are back to normal now, with an occasional very slight flare up that we treat quickly with Monkey Balm. I wish we had tried this first before all the prescription products!!!

This is quite large. Looks like a lip balm, but it's a large size. My granddaughter Carrie's it to school for quick application if her eczema flares up. At first she thought it was just lip balm, and told me it was too big for her lips. Ha. About the size for deodorant.
