SteelSeries QcK Gaming Surface - Medium Thick Cloth - Peak Tracking and Stability - Black

I had been using a cheap mouse without a mouse pad for years, but when I finally upgraded to a gaming mouse, it didn't quite work as well on wood, and the inaccuracy of a wood surface seemed to defeat the purpose of a $150 mouse. It's nice & large, feels nice, sticks to my desk, and most importantly, it works. Given the size, I rarely find myself "falling" off the edge of the pad, and after a couple months, it's still clean, with no frays, but I don't eat at my computer and there is only a thin layer of dust under my monitor now, so my office isn't that dirty.I read some complaints that it is shipped rolled up. I didn't think much of it, and just put it on my desk, and went about my business. When my hand is on the mouse, it flattened out the pad, and within a few days, the pad was flat. A month later, it's still flat. ...I'm not why people complained.The only negative I can think of is the logo. I don't like extra trash on my desk, so this bothers me a bit, but I prefer the size and feel, more than I don't like the little logo.

While I have only been using this pad for 5 days now, I can say that the mouse pad is of high quality. The thickness of the pad assures that it will last for a long time. The Length by Width size of this mouse pad is huge! I had to turn it sideways to fit on my desktop and I even had to tuck some of it under my keyboard! With that said, my desktop is pretty small in length. I knew the other QCK mouse pads would be even bigger so I went with this one. I'm not disappointed thus far. The mouse (Razer Deathadder) glides on the surface smoothly. There is plenty of room to move the mouse on without the mouse falling off while gaming or even browsing the web. Overall, I definitely suggest this mouse to others looking for a mouse pad that is of excellent quality and size.Note: I will likely return here in the future after more experience (positive or negative) with the mouse pad.

First of all, the shipment was FAST. It showed up at my doorstep in less than one day. (Even though I have Amazon Prime and chose free 2 day shipping.)THE GOOD:The size is perfect and will fit all mice. I tend to use larger mice (Anker Gaming Mouse/Logitech G500) so I had to purchase this mouse to accompany them.It works incredibly well, the surface is smooth and feels very durable. In addition, it's also quite thick and heavy. Surprisingly even.It's perfect for people like me that tend to rest their forearm on the desk. It's comfortable in addition to being functional.The rubber surface on the underside is fantastic. It grips my wood-based desk incredibly well. I don't think that this is going to slip and slide around at all.A common problem with mouse pads is that when they are packaged, they are rolled up inside of the packaging. This is true of the original Steelseries QCK. This problem does not happen with the Mass version of the mouse pad. It's so heavy that it flattens itself out within 10 minutes of usage.Most importantly, the price is fantastic. Ended up costing me around $10 after taxes. Definitely not burning a hole in your wallet with this price to value ratio.THE BAD:Upon arrival, as soon as I opened the shipment box, I could smell the mouse pad.I am a pretty tolerant person so it didn't affect me too much, but that's something to bear in mind.The smell can be described as similar to the rubbery smell that some car products give off.The packaging left something to be desired. It was difficult to open due to a sticker that was oddly placed. A minor grippe however.CONCLUSION:Overall, I believe that this mouse pad performs amazingly well for its price. The durability is something that can be easily seen once you hold it and use it. Furthermore, the surface is comfortable and large for those that need those qualities. I would highly recommend this mouse pad for anyone looking to purchase a mouse pad for gaming or general usage.
