Brilliant hands free pumping
There are so few reviews for this product in the UK I wanted to add a detailed one for anyone who may find it helpful. I've been using them for about 10 days now to get a good feel for how they work.My baby was unable to latch, and this plus other issues mean that we are currently expressing exclusively for feeds. As a result I need to express 8 to 10 times a day and good amounts so I'm very reliant on good equipment!I'm using a spectra s1 pump but came across the freemie cups when researching pumping bras, none of which looked right for me. These are fantastic! They work. I have managed to bottle feed my baby whilst pumping, eat dinner... I've even managed to pump on the train to clapham junction!I havent noticed any drop in production... can still get up to 300ml using these.Although not invisible they are still more discreet than traditional flange/bottle... pull a jumper or muslin over them and you are decent. Pumped in a restaurant, on a train and in front of my in laws!Easy to take apart and cleanYou do need to be wearing a proper bra... my soft sleep bra wont do the trick but my former nursing bras do fine. You cant see what's being pumped well through the plastic. I used these holding them to begin with so that I could time how long I needed to be in let down mode before changing to expression mode and also how long it took me to empty both breasts... after this I could just stick to these rough timings each time without having to check.I needed higher settings than I do with my bottles and flanges but that's easy to do.Summary: I love them. I still use the flanges regularly at home but this has freed me to do other things or leave the house for more than 2 hours without worrying about maintaining supply. As with all things theres a knack to then but i didnt find it hard to get the hang of and think they were worth every penny

Brilliant investment saved my breastfeeding journey
Although I get a small ammount less than using my other traditional collection pump parts this is an able to me a great amount of mobility. I use this with a small rechargeable pump so that I can walk about with the pump in my pocket. I've been able to pump while shopping and driving and cleaning. It also means that I'm able to hold my baby without worrying about spilling milk or having him pull the cups off me wasting precious milk. They do look a bit odd when you are using them so if you're self conscious and wanted to use them out and about just be aware of that but most people won't be able to tell tell just what you're doing. A large jumper or cardigan easily disguises this. It's fairly easy to pour the milk out. It's very easy to unassemble and wash. You must boil the parts specified in the instructions before first use or it won't fit together properly. This also means that it's not really suitable for steam sterilization or microwave sterilization. You get two flange sizes if I recall correctly 28mm and 25mm.With pumping I'd usually recommend measuring your nipples and using the correct flange size.I use the 25mm and it's a little big which is probably why I get slightly less then using my correctly fitting flanges however the portability absolutely outweighs this for me and I can easily hand express at the end of the pumping session.I've also found because the parts fit together so neatly it's easier to take with me.Another point I'd like to mention is that you don't need a special type of bra for pumping whilst using these, you can use a sports bra or your nursing bra.It is hard to see how the pump sits on your nipple but it doesn't take long to getting used to feeling for them to be in the right position. One final note is do not lean forwards whilst they are on or your milk may spill.

Wrong flange sizes
Received this today and was disappointed to open the box (which cannot be returned once opened for “hygienic reasons”), and found x3 25mm flanges and x1 28mm flange. It might be possible for me to use the 25mm flange, but if I need bigger, the set is useless to me. Can’t contact the seller without going through a returns process on Amazon, and in the pandemic I cannot easily get to post office! Not sure now whether to prepare the set and try 25mm flanges, or try to return and get a proper set with both sizes... if I get a good result/reply from the seller, I will write/edit to higher star rating.

Not worth it - decrease milk supply
While its quite nice to be able to move while pumping, here are a few reasons you should not buy this1. All parts have to be completly dry for the suction to work.2. Everything has to be lined up perfectly or it wont draw any milk out. I had a few instances where i had no milk after 30mins pump because some part was just slightly off (and its very easy for this to happen because the plastic is not very clear)3. It wont increase your milk supply and can potentially decrease it because of the way the suction works and it doesnt have a "let down" mode.4. You cannot see if any milk is coming out because the plastic is not very clear5. Its very easy to spill milk when pouring because of the hole on top is too small6. You really have to push the tubing in otherwise it wont suck anythingAnd its quite expensive for a few pieces of plastic. Returning to my bella baby pump.
