Well built and tells time. I think the time part is the most important for a clock.

In addition to a pleasant buying experience - quick shipping, well protected packaging and a product that matched its photo I have to give the clock 5 stars because it does what it is supposed to do -- keep accurate time.I have one minor complaint about wall clocks in general -- hanging them on the wall is a blind process. That is, you can't see the hole in the back of the clock when you are trying to mount it on either a nail or a picture hook. So you make a best guess and try to get the hole on the nail. It usually takes me at least three tries before I succeed. Unfortunately I encounter this problem twice a year when changing the time to accommodate Daylight Savings Time and additional times when I have to replace the battery.I am not downrating the clock because in my experience it is a universal problem with battery operated wall clocks.

It ticks too loud! I hear it at night in my upstairs bedroom. It's good quality, glass and metal, and looks classy but I really can't stand the loud tick. I will have to return it unfortunately

I saw the negative reviews but they didn't bother me because I knew I could easily return it if it didn't work.It's been about a year since my purchase and the clock has worked well. I stuck this in a baby's room and note that there is an audible tick sound every second. It's not annoying but is slightly noticeable. I liked the clock so much that I'm about to buy a second one for baby number two that is on it's way in July.

I purchased this clock in late January 2025 and started using it in late February after returning from a trip. Since then it has NEVER worked properly. With brand new batteries it has stopped working three times. In two of those instances the act of replacing the new battery with another new battery started the clock working again, but it then stopped working within a few days. The third time I replaced the new battery with another new battery the clock stopped working within one day. But it then restarted working before I had a chance to replace the battery again. So now it is just 6+ hours behind. A totally worthless clock that I can't return because Amazon's 30-day return window has closed.

I purchased this wall clock for my office and couldn't be happier with it. I have another Howard Miller and it's been working like a charm for years. You can't go wrong.

This is a great clock, which I hung in my garage. It is very easy to read at a long distance.
