Q: Are the all brass adapters better? Considering the manifold is all plastic...

I just finished installing this manifold, during the installation I used both brass and plastic fittings and I didn't notice any difference as far as ease of installation is concerned. I have read that if your water is supplied by a well it is better to go with the plastic fittings because the minerals in well water will corrode the brass fittings over time. Hope that helps.

Q: Are these to fit the top supply lines as they are 1 inch size? I need twofor the top of the manibloc for supply lines of hot and cold water.

Yes, these are 1" thread size specifically made to fit the hot and cold inlets to the manablocs, and also optionally to the bottom outlet of the manabloc (instead of the cap that is also available but not included). The crimp end of these fittings is for 3/4" pex.
