My husband and I are visiting Finland this summer. We wanted a recipe book to familiarize us with Finnish cuisine. We aren't Finnish and there are no Finnish restaurants where we live. This small book will give you a good basic understanding about Finnish cuisine. The photos are nice and the recipes are well explained.

As someone who has travelled to Finland and tried most of their local cuisine this book not only gives recipes from the country but explains in depth as to why they cook these and what parts of Finland they are from

I bought this Finnish cookbook for my Finnish born wife, and although a small book, it has many dishes with very good pics, and details all in English .., a little 'gem'..., she was very pleased with it..

Nice little book but quite limited in the selection of recipe so I'm a little disappointed.
