The tap was a little more difficult to use than I anticipated, particularly keep it straight.I used it to make adjustable height legs for model railroad modules.

it performs adequately when adjusted. My main suggestion is that the instructions could be greatly expanded, especially in the area of wood selection and preparation. There is only one cutter in the die, would benefit from two cutters. The tap is much easier to use. Be prepared to ruin some pieces before you get it right.
