Old school ruffler
This special foot has limited use, and not everyone will think they need it. But I find it invaluable for so many applications. It fit my Pfaff machine, but I also have a Singer Featherweight which will also accommodate it. Here I made dozens of yards of ruffled underskirt for a costume.Only downfall is, there are zero instructions included on how to use this thing. I already knew, because this isn't the first one I've owned. If in doubt, there are videos on YouTube. This small device is a miracle of engineering.Disclaimer: this attachment will not fit all Pfaff machines, it is after all made by Singer.

A MUST HAVE for a sewist.
I LOVE this sewing foot. It takes a little maneuvering to get it on the machine, and you need a little practice. But after that it takes all the hassle and difficulty out of making gathers for dresses, skirts, curtains--whatever.It is adjustable by using stitch length and a abujustment on the foot for 1, 6 or 12 stitches between ruffles. I suggest that while you are practicing, make a chart of the beggining and ending lengths of fabric. For example, make strips the width of the fabric by 4 inches and gather the whole lenght.Set the ruffle for 12 stitches between ruffles, then adjust the stitch lengths to see how much it takes up the material. Do the same with the 6 and the 1. Then you will also have examples to chose from of what you like best for different projects. A MUST HAVE for a sewist---partime or full time.I have an old machine that I leave the muffler foot attached to, just slide down the table when I need some ruffles.NOTE--Make sure you know whether your machine is high shank or low shank. You MUST get the proper one for your machine.

1st one ordered did not work, but was easily replaced and the 2nd one works really well.

Works really well.
I purchased this foot for my Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 sewing machine. The foot was easy to install, but I did have some difficulty getting it to work (to catch the fabric to make the pleat). I took a break from it and watched a video on YouTube on how to use and I quickly got it to work. The trick that got it working was to move all the moving parts a bit to get them to flex and move easily. Really good quality.

I never used one and I love it. I learned easily after right tutorial and ...
Ok, I have to say I was a bit iffy on whether I should get this for the price and if it would fit my Singer Classic, not a fancy sewing machine. I also have a Pfaff, but my basic Singer has worked as back up and period. It worked well with my singer Classic. I scan the code to download the video on how to use, but it took me to another ruffler foot. I decided to look at other utube videos and if you research enough you'll find someone that has made what you are looking for. 2 males used these same ruffler foot. I never used one and I love it. I learned easily after right tutorial and I made my first easy ruffling plus attached to dress where I wanted the ruffle to go on. Love it, must try it, super easy, so glad I bought it. If bought elsewhere locally, they run much higher.
