Pacific Catch Fishing Black Belt Apron Rod Butt Rest

This is a great fighting belt for inshore & offshore fishing. No heavy plate; just a leather reinforced cup and cordura apron that has pockets and a tool sheath. (I put snaps on the pockets to eliminate losing small items I put in the pockets. Pocket is large enough to hold a 16oz disposable water bottle. I use it for amberjack, yellowfin, stripe marlin, dorado, grouper, etc on my Baja trips. Easy to pack in luggage. After each outing, I rinse it under a shower of fresh water and it's ready the next day. Great price, too!

Pockets need elastic closure at the top to keep items in. Extra pocket is good for scissors but need one on the other side for pliers. Belt slips down when full of gear might consider a optional suspender version or after market item extra. I put a grommet in mine to tie on my towel. It passed the Tuna test in the Gulf. Next the Tournament trail in South Florida. I recommended to 6 friends that bought it also.

This rod belt is pretty basic. I move around the boat a bit, so the pouches are nice for holding the pliers. I see years of use out of this belt.

A simple yep highly effective product. It made the trip and pulling several large fish in very easy.
