Would probably work in a small lunch box. Not great for larger lunch packs unless you use all of them which ends up taking more space than a traditional ice pack.

These long and narrow squared off Tour It ice packs work great as they can be grouped together or distributed into nooks and crannies so they tilt, lay flat and so on. This size works well for my small and medium insulated bags and ice chests, and one can even fit tilted in a regular brown lunch bag. I think how long these stay cold depends on factors like how many are used, the weather, insulation, etc. But these are narrow and we tend to use them for transporting food to a family member’s home in hot weather, etc.I just leave these packs in the freezer to use as needed. These are filled with some type of gel or liquid (not sure which), and none in my set of 8 has leaked after many uses. These are easy to wipe clean as needed. The plastic is thick, and these ice packs look and feel really durable. I think a lot of these would be needed for a large chest if it’s all you’re using to keep food cold, so it’s better to have a mix of larger blocks or ice too. I’ll be buying a second set, and definitely recommend these ice packs. Love this product. 5 stars.

I can’t comment on longevity yet since haven’t had them long. But these are great for every ice chest and make it easy in the RV to Re freeze without taking up a bunch of room!

I work 12 hour shifts, and will typically pack a small soft-sided cooler full of lunch and a few drinks to get me through my day. I had a couple of the bigger Igloo bricks I had been using, but they developed a big bulge in one side and I didn't trust them any longer. I looked at these and loved the concept and potential flexibility they offered for packing into a cooler. In practice though I find that there are a couple of minor things that could be better. First, being smaller individually these don't stay cold quite as long as the larger blocks. They stay cold enough to get me through a full shift, but I wouldn't trust them much beyond 12 hours. Second, while the size and shape of these provide a lot of flexibility, I find they don't always stay where I put them in the cooler and so don't always keep my drinks as cold. What I would love to see is to have some kind of connector molded into the sides of these so that you could hook them together to make a bigger block. I may try to get some velcro straps or something to keep them together and where I want them. Other than those minor things, these have been great.

Usually I use all together in my insulated grocery tote. I like them. Versatile. Stays cold a few hours

I can attest it’s non-toxic LOL my 5-year old thought it was a juice/ice pop in his lunchbox and drank it. He says it tasted “good but a little spicy”

Bought this on Prime Day to use in coolers. Parents used it to deliver some homemade ice cream, they were gone for most of the day, when they delivered them to the customers the ice cream was still solid and when they got home the packs were still cold and the liquid inside only partly melted (They used 4 or so in a midsize cooler.) Work great so going to keep them around.Side note, not really affecting my review, but after receiving these I noticed they were slim enough to fit into my ice cream churn, and the 8 pack took up roughly half the space. So a lightbulb clicked off as I'm looking for a way to reduce my ice usage for churning, I froze them and put them in the Ice Bucket with some water, salt, and ice to fill in the gaps. Sadly it did not work like how just salt and ice would work. So I guess the thing that makes them good in the cooler (long lasting) doesn't make them so good in the churn.

Defrost quickly than described

Put these in my cooler. Drove to work (45 min drive) within an hour they are already liquid and no longer frozen. Save your money

Thought this would be perfect for my big water bottle but they are actually a little too big so I can’t fit ice in there as well to keep my bottle extra cold
