I received a used waxing kit. Filled with wax, Missing a waxing pack, missing the after care wipes. SO DISGUSTING!!!! During a world wide pandemic I get sent something used like this?! Also beware the person that opened the kit before me carefully opened it from the bottom/side of the box as you can see in pictures. I opened it from the top thinking the box was damaged in shipping... NO.

This was definitely easy to use, never had i waxed my under arms myself with hard wax beads. I was unsure at first since it seemed like the beads had melted and was a little problematic to get out of the bag. I had to rip the bag to get them out. Which is strange because I got this delivery in December and it’s not hot outside, first made me think if it could have been used but the product itself looks unused and clean. It didn’t alter the effectiveness of the wax beads, melted very well.At first I think I had it too hot which I could tolerate but it was only making a thin layer of wax and I had a Little trouble taking the pieces off. I let it cool down to about 150 and it was thicker consistency, like cold honey, and it made a thicker layer and I could wax much easierConsidering it would usually be $10 to wax my under arms and this cost me about $30, I can already see myself saving much money with also waxing other area when summer comes. I recommend and love it already

This was a great kit. Best part is it was 80% + painless (including lesser pain than @ EWC) and this is coming from someone who still hates getting shots as an adult. I done a Brazilian on myself before using GIGI and it did NOT turn out so well.... this second time around not one issue, the 2/3 strips I thought did hurt didn't hurt a lot but I assume it was because there was more hair or just thicker in a common area (just breathe and keep pulling).. I will no longer be paying to have this done so excited. THANK YOU!Tips*It says sit on the floor, sitting on the edge of the tub was better because you can create tension. Especially for the butt strip.*Best temp for honey texture was 185/190*Purchase extra sticks. The kit I had only had 10 large 10 small. As a 1st try I went through all of them but would probably use less now that I did it and more familiar.* when you go to do the "inside" try to create 1 long strip. Start top to bottom then bottom to the top and connect it. Much easier than going and stopping half way* when doing around bikini line apply at a diagonal. You pull from bottom up. So its easier when you "lift the strip" to start pulling on bare skin than right where there is hair... if there is hair you will feel the immediate pull :/Bonus*when it dripped (on my textured laminate hardwood floors) it did not stick at all!!*after wax wipes were nice and smell good, wish there were more that came with it (only 4), but if you want to make your own a mix of mint/peppermint oil (these naturally remove adhesives, but always dilute with another oil) with eucalyptus and jasmine/lavender <<i think this is what I smelled in them or buy a pre mixed oil I have Hollywood beauty Peppermint oil from Walmart I will probably use in the future <$5)

I like the fact that you offer wax beans for course hair. Disclaimer: This comment was part of a questionnaire from the Lansley company.Update: After using this unit, I found that I actually liked this kit. I am pretty comfortable with waxing but I use to sugar wax with strips for certain areas. It was totally effective, but messy. I liked how efficient the hard wax was. I could apply the wax to a few areas and the pull it off one right after the other. Then to be able to just throw everything away was so awesome (compared to washing strips). I am a complete newbie to this kind of waxing and found this kit totally easy to use/operate. Truly pleasantly surprised considering that there is a lot of pushiness to leave a review. This kit is actually pretty good, there’s no reason for them to be so hard core about soliciting good reviews. This was the reason for my original bland review that was requested when I tried to register the product for its warranty. No regrets with this purchase, however. I am definitely a satisfied customer.

This wax kit works! I’m a beginner & it was really easy to use. I suffer from PCOS so I’ve had facial hair for yearsssss. I finally got tired of shaving every other day so I figured why not try this myself. I’ve done my chin, legs & underarms with no problems. Haven’t gotten the courage to wax “the love below” just yet. Consistency is key! A medium thickness with the temp around 195-210 will give you a good spread, anything after 210 will be too runny & you’ll have a tough time pulling the strip off of you. Exfoliate prior to...helps the process.

I received this kit and then it sat for a couple weeks as I finished up my semester and finals. When I finally got the kids to bed and plugged this baby in, I was pretty impressed at how quickly the wax warmed up. The temperature control is very tight; it was too hot at first and with just a small nudge, it quickly went down to a comfortable level for me. Because of my busy schedule of full time work, evening classes, and kids, you can imagine my hairs were quite ready for waxing. I did my face and my underarms by myself and it was incredibly easy. Since this was my first time waxing myself, there was a learning curve, especially for my underarms. Once I get the hang of it, I'm confident that I can wax myself in no time flat. I'm too scared to do my bikini line just yet so I'll keep my appointments for those sessions, but I am very impressed with this little warmer. One thing I do wish it had was the thinner sticks (orange sticks) for eyebrows. The ones included were just too big for my brow area.

I would give this a 3.5. It does what I need it to do but I wasn't blown away.The wax that is included is great. In comparison to some other hard wax products I've had some that snap in half. The included wax remined slightly flexible and removed the hairs accordingly; however, it took all four of the included bags to finish both full legs. I am now out of wax.I also notice that the 'off' dial sticks. If I am on a lower temperature, the light indicating that it is 'on' does not always light up until I reach mid or high heat. It's just the light, and the heating works fine, but it would be nice for it to come on and turn off as it should.This might be a bit of an odd thing to be fussy about but I had no idea how to use the wax guards. The round cardboard circles I assume are to keep wax from dripping into the warmer, but I can't say for certain because the directions of use weren't in the manual... I threw them out.

Overall good product, arrived in a timely manner, heat settings are great. As a first time self wax-er, the wax really worked on my thick coarse hair. Only downside is bags provided are small, I used 1 entire bag for a Brazilian. But then again you could purchase additional wax.I am glad I purchased this as to I really don't know when I'll be able to visit my regular spa with this ongoing pandemic.

This!I have zero tolerance of pain. And I felt so amazing doing Brazilian Wax . It took of all of my pubes hair until I can see the roots of each hair. This is amazing product, I didn’t regret to buy . I wish they can still keep the formula for the waxing beads
