So I really wanted to buy a doughnut gamescape in black with the iridescent buckles. I couldn't justify the price and really liked that this specific Himawari was black but with splashes of metallic purple and blue. So I bought this.I am going to start with the cons but the pros I feel outweigh the cons and in the end I kinda love this bag.Cons.. if you are like me, little details matter when I purchase a bag. The outside splashes of color are more hot pink than purple the blue circle around the Himawari logo is not there. It's just the black circle with printed logo but the biggest sin here is that the inside lining was supposed to be bubble gum pink and the contrast against the black was so cute in the photos it was a big part of why I picked this bag. The inside lining is actually black. I was very disappointed and reached out to customer service. They answered my messages and let me know the newer bags have changed a bit and gave me a discount because I was unhappy. Their customer service is very good but they have not updated the changes to the bag on their listing so I am including it in the review.So now pros. this bag is still very cute it fits pretty comfortably unless you over load it. It is easy to over load because it can fit A LOT. Tons of pockets and despite the fabric feeling thin it seems well made. I have been using it as an oversized day bag/purse since I got it and I kinda love it. It just really fits a ton. It truly is water resistant. I did a test and the water beaded and rolled off. Then last night we went to the amusement park and got caught in a rain storm. The rain just rolled off and nothing in the bag got wet.The side pockets won't fit a water bottle they are very small and tight and you would have to put a bottle inside the bag.. to me that's not a problem. Also only a tablet or small laptop would fit in this bag. I knew this and for me not a problem. If you are ok with these things it's a very cute bag for about half the price of a doughnut bag.

The colors are true to picture, and the backpack seems sturdy! I don’t know about waterproof, but overall I really love it!

The Himawari 14.9-inch waterproof backpack is amazing. The Himawari 14.9-inch backpack has a spacious front pocket big enough to hold textbooks, notebooks, and anything else you might need. The smaller pockets inside provide a lot of space for any extra things you might have like chargers, a phone, an e-reader, and writing utensils. The backpack also has a padded laptop pocket. The pocket that is on the front of the backpack is also very spacious. The two water bottle pockets on the side, although a bit tight, make for a secure place to put your water bottle. The backpack also comes in so many cute colors and different color combinations. The colors on the backpack that I ordered were cream, baby pink, and baby blue. After about a week of solid use, I can confidently say that this backpack is awesome. The colors of the backpack are adorable and the material is really good quality. The main pocket can hold everything I need, including textbooks, planners, and notebooks. The laptop pocket feels very secure and I have no worries about my laptop's safety while it is inside. The other pockets inside the backpack are also nice and are large enough to hold anything extra I need to bring like my laptop charger, my glasses case, and even my Kindle. The outside pocket is also a huge bonus for me because it gives me enough space to store my lunch and snacks separate from anything majorly important. One of the minor downsides to this backpack is that the water bottle pockets are a bit tight and even my 24 oz water bottle kind of struggles to fit. Another downside is that one of the inside pockets, the one with the elastic, is a bit fragile. I had a pen in the elastic pocket for only about an hour and it had managed to poke a small hole in the bottom. Overall this backpack is amazing. I love the way the backpack looks, and how much it holds, and I am confident that this backpack will last. The two minor downsides barely affect my overall experience using this backpack. I would recommend this backpack to anyone that wants a cute yet functional backpack.

Normally, whenever you receive an Amazon package you’ll get the generic white/grey bag or a box with the Amazon logo on it. I ordered this backpack for my mom as a Christmas gift and since Amazon packages usually come in their discreet packaging, i initially wasn't worried about my mom finding out. But once I got home, my mom was already home and picked up the package and it was in the clearest of clear packaging. At that point there was no reason to wait till Christmas because she already saw the bag in its entirety so… yea that surprised was ruined but the bag is great, many compartments to put away your things and a good size for a laptop, notebooks, and water bottles 👍

This backpack is made of good materials, it’s really waterproof. The problem are the strings for the straps, they just come lose all the way to the end, there’s no way they can stay where you adjust them to.

I have now had 2 of these backpacks ( I wanted a new color ). This backpack is super sturdy, and perfect if you're a student walking around with just an iPad, a couple notebooks, and your water bottle + charger. There is space for a smaller laptop, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something that can carry textbooks/large quantity of items. It's cute and really great quality.

Yo la uso para iPad, cuaderno, estuche, dos thermos, cartera, le cuelgo el suéter con el broche de arriba y demás cositas y cabe todo perfecto a pesar de ser compacta, y esto es por que tiene una bolsa con cierre amplio que se abre casi completamente.

First off, the bag took a while to arrive; the order was processed, something happened and then it was processed again about two weeks later. The bag arrived about 3 weeks after it was allegedly shipped, but the tracking info provided was essentially useless as it stopped after two days.But the delivery process is not of concern; the bag is! The bag is stylish, well-built and super comfortable. As I’m sure you’re doing right now, I read over a ton of reviews both written and recorded, both great and not so great before ordering, and I don’t regret it! When I first opened the package I was taken away; the colours were absolutely gorgeous, but the bag looked a bit small. My fears were easily resolved though, as it easily fit my laptop and two thick textbooks. I have not tried with more textbooks as of yet, but I do believe it will hold up.There are a lot of pockets in the main compartment which I love, and the front opens up quite a way which is helpful for lockers. The front pocket is actually quite big and isn’t bulky-looking, and the straps amazingly comfortable. At first, the bag sat rather high up on my back but they’re easy to adjust.There’s a lot of reviews concerning the zippers and how they get stuck, but my zippers all work perfectly fine and haven’t stuck as of yet; perhaps they’ve improved on that over time.If you’ve read this far, I’d 100000% recommend this bag to everyone! I’ve read and heard that it’s a really good imitation of Doughnut Macaron bags, so if you’re a fan of those but are looking for a bag a bit more reasonably priced I’d buy this~

La mochila japonesa tiene puras ventajas respecto con los comentarios del tamaño bolsa, color y bolsas laterales (termos de agua) son puras mentiras. Claro que sí se tiene muchas cosas no cabran todas: no es mochila para sobre cargar, muy delicada con muy pequeños compartimiento para llevarla de viaje y ideal para la escuela (una laptop no cabe, si no, un iPad tamaño chico). Se puede usar para llevar cosas deportivas, lentes de sol, uso para el compartimiento por ejemplo, cosas necesarias para el covid, llevar lentes de sol y cartera. 100% recomendable. Estoy muy contenta con mi compra.

First of all the color was the reason of choice for my teenage daughter . This bag has many compartments inside for an iPad and personal items , plus the external double bottle holder makes it very convenient . Has a fair amount of capacity for books but if your kid has a lot of books to carry it won’t be large enoughCan’t talk about durability because she hasn’t used it for more than a few weeks .

Es una mochila muy bonita, cuidan cada detalle, la había querido desde hace un año atrás y hasta ahora la pude obtener, vale completamente la pena, no la recomiendo para primaria o secundaria donde se tienen que llevar muchos libros pero para mi universidad de diseño de interiores creo que será funcional
