Dove Damage Therapy Curl and Sculpt Defining Mousse, 7 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I really love this product. I have fine, curly hair and a lot of frizz. I've used so many curl defining products in the past (and continue to try new ones as I find them), and this is without a doubt my favorite. You can use a ton, and it's honestly not crunchy or sticky (unlike the new Dove Style+Care Whipped Cream Mousse, which is super sticky).I used to use Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct Mousse, which gives a good curl and hold, but it is VERY crunchy. This wasn't a problem for me if I showered at night and slept with the product in my hair (I guess I moved around enough at night to work out the crunch!). But I needed a product that I could use after morning showers and not have to worry about crunchy or sticky hair. Along came Dove. I use a lot of this mousse, and it leaves my hair soft and crunch free. It does not hold curls as tightly as Garnier does...this is really more of a great leave-in conditioner that fights frizz and leaves my curls looking soft and natural.The only place I can seem to find this mousse is at Walmart (meh), so I've ordered a bunch from Amazon. I will continue to use and love this product!

The mousse smells fine like any typical mousse. The bottle says that the mousse will not be sticky or make your hair hard. This is accurate after applying it in, but the mousse fails to do the most important task and it's most important purpose, which is taming the frizz and sculpting. This doesn't sculpt or style your hair very well, much less define curls, especially after it dries. You are better off buying a mousse from John Frieda. Don't waste your money buying this, especially if you have wavy to coarse hair. You can try using it with hairspray for improvement.

I have very curly, frizzy hair and this is the best mousse I've found. Don't be afraid to use a lot! It does not make your hair sticky or crunchy. I use a good two handfuls on my hair and it sculpts and holds the curls very well and it all stays soft. I really can't say enough good things about this product. I've tried so many many products and wasted a lot of money on stuff that just made my hair hard and crunchy. This stuff works better than any salon product and is cheap! Can't beat that!

I love this stuff I would recomend this product to anyone the new dove that just came out sucks they should of never changed it I will be buying it from here from now on

Now that I'm a "woman of a certain age," my hair has gotten frizzy. This makes the curls look natural again, without the frizz.

This mousse WAS amazing. I say WAS because Dove no longer makes this particular mousse. They quit manufacturing it about 2 years ago. It was available on different websites for awhile because those people had bought up stock and jacked up the price. Sadly I use Suave 7 now. Its ok but i miss my Dove. Dont bother emailing Dove about this, I already have and was told they did their research before taking it off the market. Their dove whipped cream mousse is HORRIBLE......they didn't care.
