The CO-10 COMPRESS X offers clear punchy Compression in a very small footprint. Simply great for limited pedal board space where you can now have more tone options at your feet, or for take along effects. Simple and very effective. From Country Players to Rock, this little Compressor can bring those notes to life. Another great entry in this awesome proven line of affordable effects!!

Decent compressor
I had one of those old DOD bass compressors back in the day, and wanted something similar without paying one or two bills for a brand-name, and found that the original FX82s are fetching even more for that on auction sites because they're "vintage" now. This unit is pretty decent, a nice warm tone that doesn't sound as sterile as the old one I had. It's only got two knobs, level and sensitivity, so there's not much fidgeting you can do with the effect, but it works well for me. Solid construction with a metal case is a plus, even if it has the color scheme of some japanimation robot. The only minus I have is the way the battery fits in - there's a raised thumb screw on the bottom of the case, which wasn't conducive to velcroing this to a pedal board. I had to take out the screw and tape shut the battery door so it was flat and level. Other than that, great effect.

The Biyang Compress X-Co10 Compressor bring back quality at an afordable price !!
This is a cross between the old dynacomp, and without a doubt the old ROSS Compressor , yes the Ross Compressor !!For those of you who dont knbow about the Ross , let me enlighten you . The Ross is not only Legend but it is the Compressor that really set the mark for all others among players . The Biyang Compress X-Co10 Compressor cover all of that Hand's Down! Sound wise it's thewre Build wise It's there !!! This pedal is truly a find , it,s quiet, does not color your sound and is a real plus to any pedal board . Price wise you can,t beat this , you know we all try to set a mark on effects pedals by Price ! well maybe its time we went back to where experimenting with new and cheaper brand,s might just take our expectation's back to where they belong and the Biyang Compress X-Co10 Compressor does just that.

Good Compressor.
I use this pedal more for boosting my bass signal however it will offer heavy squish down compression if that's what you want. This pedal is actually very good!

Nice squish comp
I like this pedal a lot. I needed something simple like the mxr dyna comp. I got it for 42 dollars, very happy so far! Time will tell if the cheap will become more expensive. This and 4 others are beginning my new cheapo board. I'd buy it again if it was nabbed from me. Squash tone deluxe! Buy it through the Amazon vendor cheaperpedals.com. They test before shipping which is nice!

This compressor is solid
Biyang's Compress X is everything they say it is. Tough, small, tight sound, and quality through and through. Will stack up against the big boys easily. Great purchase if you're on a budget. I have many Biyang pedals and am very happy with all of them. This one performs outstanding.

As good as Keeley without the hiss!!!
This pedal absolutely blows my mind. I can honestly say that I did not get my hopes up when ordering this 45 dollar compressor...I figured for the price even if it wasn't high quality it had to be better than my Boss! WOW! Literally as transparent as the Keeley I tried without the annoying hiss!!! Even with the sensitivity all the way up....no hiss! It's an unbelievable steal for the price, and you will be doing yourself a favor to invest in one of these! Don't believe me though, try one for yourself! How can you go wrong at the price point?!

I like this pedal
This is a very good compressor, and not just "for the money". Over the years I've owned several well known "boutique" compressors and I like this one as much, if not better than those. It adds sustain and punch without significantly altering your basic tone.

Dyna Comp performance with MUCH LESS hiss!
This compressor has been quite surprising, as it was bought as a bit of a (researched) gamble. I have a love/hate affair with compressors, and particularly don't like the hiss that usually comes with the Dyna Comp/Ross design. Knowing that the Compress X was another D.C. clone but hearing that it had much less hiss AND was true bypass made it worth trying. As the months have gone on, I've come to use and appreciate it more and more. It does behave very much like a D.C. with the heavy squeeze at higher settings, but without all of that dreaded hiss. How Biyang did that for so low of a price is remarkable, but it makes all the difference in the world. I'm only giving four stars because I have confirmed reports from other Baby Boom users of pedal malfunctions. I doubt that mine will ever malfunction, but have to put it out there as a possibility. If you get one that doesn't work, simply exchange it for another that does - you WON'T be disappointed. I really thought that good D.C. performance would only be possible with the original compander chip - now I have confirmation that it isn't true. My only other gripe is a small one - I really don't care for the Pokemon looking cheesy graphics. I'd think that many comp users are a bit older and used to a more conservative MXR-type look. Like those goofy looking BBE pedals (I have a Two Timer delay that looks absolutely out-of-place on my pedalboard), the Baby Boom line looks like toys, which is a bit of shame. But it is easily offset by the great performance. I will EASILY choose this comp over an actual D.C. or other clones if I need another one.
