ApexstoneSilicone Coffee Tamper Mat - Espresso Tamper Mat, 8 Inch X 6 Inch

Bought this to sit alongside our coffee machine. It’s sleek, fits to the worktop perfectly and does the job without any issues. We leave it on the worktop all the time and it doesn’t look out of place. Would certainly recommend to save damage to the worktop.

Needed something to protect a granite top as I scratched it tamping coffee in a portafilter. This does the job very well.

Easy to clean, goes in dishwasher

Does exactly as expected. Provides a good surface to tap your coffee or milk jug on, protects the counter and looks pretty unobtrusive (if you have dark counters).

i like this fits on my kitchen top fine with a smaller overhang that has been expressed elsewhere but it does not interfere with any of my cabin draws. tough silicon, i like to tap the filled portafilter to spread the grinds out a bit before i use the distribution tool i have and is thick enough to do this with no damage to anything. I keep my distribution tool in the ridged socket, a 58mm one and tamper next to it but coun't really put anything else on it without getting a bit squishy.The hollow/cutout for the portafilter fits mine fine and offers a level surface to tamp onto. easy to wipe clean of eronious expresso coffee grinds that always seem to escape, no matter what you do! haven't tried it in the dishwasher yet as wipe clean is fine. if you want to cover the counter top this is way to small, but as a unobtrusive tamping station just right for me.

Does the job perfectly. Now can tamp down the ground coffee without trashing the worktop.

This a very good tamper mat and used at least three times a day,So easy to clean and dry also looks great too.NEGATIVESI had to glue it to the counter with a blob of silicone so not to damage the worktop.It will not be practical otherwise as the first time I tried it, coffee got spilt due to the fact that it’s literally balanced on the edge of the counter which is exactly where you need to lean to tamper the coffee!..

It sits well on the edge of my worktop. Does what t should do for tampering my coffee.
