fillet knife
It was my mistake. I thought that it would come with replaceable blades, like the skinning knife.

Sleek and razor sharp out of the gate
A must to have around...my friends and I all butchered our deer at the same time, and when it came time to clean up the meat, I dominated with this slicer. I make much faster work then them.then soon after I cut up some crappie for fish tacos, bingo bango. Will it last for another generation? No, it is not a lifelong slicer, but worth it for 20 bucks. I get one every couple years and each time I enjoy slicing whatever I am slicing. Careful of the point tho, when fileting fish, the blade isn't too long and it can get you.

Love it
I am constantly throwing away old filet knives that I have either lost the Sheath or they have torn up. Purchased several of these a few years back for myself, sons-in law, and grandsons. So handy since they fold up, they can be used without a sheath if need be I gave mine to a fishing buddy recently. But not before I checked on-line to find me another one.

Good fillet knife
The knife was very sharp out of the box. The first its job was to fillet a part of an 11lb catfish which it did without any issues.Handle of the knife has rubberized inserts on each side that allow for decent grip. The blade is labeled as 440A stainless and is thin and flexible as it is expected for a fillet knife.Approximate sizes:- open total length is 11 3/8",- blade edge length is 4 5/8",- closed length is same as handle length and is 6 3/8".The knife can be stored in the included pouch that comes in camo color pattern. The pouch has a loop on its back that allow for secure mounting on a belt. The knife alone has a metal clip on its handle that can help securing it on a belt or in a pocket (you'll need a 6 3/8" deep pocket for that). On one of the photos the knife is displayed side by side with a 6" Gerber Gator fillet knife.
