HAND WASH ONLY!
I am a Weck canning fan, especially because the components are made to be re-used, not discarded after one use. These Weck gaskets must only be hand washed, they dry-out and degrade in the dishwasher. Happy canning!

Perfect replacements
Happy to have found these for my jars. I have various sets of Weck canning jars in different sizes. Over the years and with use the rubber seals stretch and become unusable. I was very happy to have found these replacements. I must comment that I like Weck canning jars very much, but there is a learning curve on the proper use of the seals to seal the jars air-tight. The rims of the jars and the seals must be free of debris, grease or liquid of any type for them to seal properly. Do take care to follow the correct protocols for successful canning. Realize also, that the seals must be replaced when they begin to stretch out.

Easy for a newbie
I bought a set of small tulip Weck jars originally as a whimsical way to serve desserts. I do a lot of canning, and am accustomed to using the Ball/Kerr two piece lids. I decided to try putting up a batch of marmalade using my Weck jars in a water bath canner. The lids and rings are easy to fit, and I had no seal failures. The seals indicate if they are open by the position of the front tab. These were easy to fit and use, and the end result is attractive enough to go to the table.

good quality
they were good quality but I could not use them because of the size, they were too small

Wrong size sent
I honestly can't attest to quality. I think, in the correct size, these could have worked for some vintage jars I'm trying to fit. These are quite thin, but that would work for my purposes in the right size, of course. I returned this incorrect item, as I had no use for it & I had other errands to run down mountain. However, I didn't reorder for the same reason...too much cost in gas to make returns like this.

Fits an antique
I have an old ceramic jar with a clamp-down lid. It might once have had a rubber seal, but that is long gone as the jar is dated 1901. I wanted to use it to store loose tea, so I started looking for a rubber seal that might fit. This one came the closest, and with only a tiny adjustment it fit perfectly! The seller delivered on time, and the seals are clean, soft, and of excellent quality.

High Quality for Best Results
These rings are made for Weck jars and provide a high quality right for the best possible seal with them. I would not buy a substitute, because I want to make sure all my canning output is safe for my family to consume.
