Unger Lambs Wool Duster

I have a two-storey entryway, and could never dust the chandelier myself, since it is about 18' high. I had someone come in to do it once, but that was too costly to do regularly. I tried to dust it with a microfiber mop while standing on a stepladder, but that didn't work well and seemed dangerous. So I've a had a dusty chandelier for years, and it's been bothering me for years. I finally did something about it. I found the Unger Light Bulb Changer kit on amazon, and bought that for changing my recessed ceiling bulbs. At the same time I bought this duster. It fits perfectly on the light bulb changer pole, and works really well to remove dust, even from fragile glass pieces. It's handy that it bends, so you can use it to get into crevices. I'm really pleased with it.

This attachment connects easily to the retractable pole I use to get to hard to reach places. It is great for cleaning the top of ceiling fans, or getting the cobwebs out of corners or window sills. The construction is good, and it stands up to a beating.

We've got a vaulted ceiling in the living room and this makes it easy for dusting and debugging that ceiling!

So did I get the wrong one or what because it sucks. It doesn't bend, doesn't look anything like the picture, and did not remove any dust.

I liked the universal handle - accepting the screw threads of my paint roller extension rod.The wool head is dense and of good quality.

Bought this for my Unger Opti-Lock pole to clean hard to reach areas on my 20-foot high ceilings. Easy to attach - like a swiffer that you can use again and again. Light, easy to use, and the feathers don't get caught on everything like some of the other dusters. It does exactly what the description says it does except that it's 20-inches and not 20-feet (some kind of typo that I guess has been causing people to think that it comes with the pole which it doesn't).

The duster works very well but I sure wish they made it eight inches longer. The one I received is only about four inches after the bend. The beams I dust are at least eight inches wide. The beams are so high that I really want to make only one pass with the duster but since this is so short, dusting requires two passes with the duster on either side of the beam.

I like the lambs wool duster because when your dusting with it the dust doesn't fly all over and is caught in the wool. Alls you have to do to release the the dust is hit it on you hand or a flat surface and when no dust is coming off you know it is clean. Never wash it with water because it will mat together and no longer works as well.
