Great Product Better than Advertised
Great product. It ignited on the first strike (after cleaning off the coating per instructions). Fuel compartment is a generous size and comes with two spare wicks and four O rings. This will do the job.

Works great but the black painting wears off
Been using it on daily basis, it works great but I noticed the black painting wears off making it look very bad.

So Far,These units are Performing Admirably & I like them more & more each time fired up,it's a Tiny TORCH!I've had others in the past = so-so,but This Particular SOMGEM brand I Believe are the Best thought out, Functionally Useful,& well Engineered units of their type, they even LOOK Good -*I use zippo fluid-*Don't let it burn too long! = you WILL be Burning-UP & Consuming the WICK instead of the FLUID!*I Always Coat the Threads & O-Ring with Synthetic or Silicone Grease-which allows the O-Ring to LAST a very long time,which Also Enhances the Quality & Consistency of the SEAL -IF-IF-IF you are NEW To these things, FIRST READ-READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!

Work well
With a little practice these light every time. Very solid, crush resistant tubes. They seal well and do not leak. Positively aggressive threading makes it easy to use.

They suck
They don’t work with kerosene except one time, literally I got it to light after several attempts of soaking for a while, adjusting levels of the fluid, and be ready for your hands to have fire on them or atleast reek of whatever you put in them. They suck and I can’t return them.

Most people just don't understand
All the bad reviews because they can't get it first try. First off, the flint rod has a coating on it, I just scraped it a little and got it shinny. Hold it 45° and it works nice. It's a cool lighter that stays on my bugout bag. Since it's just a fuel soaked wick and a flint like that, you should be able to burn a lot of different fuels, has an o ring too and hasn't leaked on me at all. Overall I like this lighter and it definitely will stick around.
