They work excellent for cutting cloth also
These scissors grip what you are cutting because they are serrated. They work well on braided fishing line and it's hard to cut. I use them to cut down cotton cleaning patches and they are excellent for doing that as well. Most common smooth scissors push what you are trying to cut, and you end up with jagged uneven cuts. These solve that problem for very little cost. They are small if that's a drawback for you.

Sharp and compact
These scissors are sharp and do the job cutting through a fishing line. I use it for cutting Fireline thread to make jewelry. They are small and handy. Love it!

Extremely sharp and handy
These scissors cut braided line fantastically. Extremely sharp and useful. The one problem I have is that I like to keep my scissors handy in a shirt pocket. These are so sharp they damage the shirt fabric. If The manufacturer were too put these scissors on a spool with a retractable cord, I would highly recommend them.
