Cheaper at local auto parts store, tips clogg easily
Color is brighter than a vehicle painted in 1998, but that could be due to some fade over time. The cans tips clogg up easily and splatter, so keep the tips wiped off. Also the last couple of ounces in the car are useless because there is not enough pressure to push them out. One last thing is they are $8.99 at the local auto parts store and i overpaid on Amazon by $6 a can. My fault for not checking first

PERFECT color match! Watch videos to figure out the tricks first. These photos show before/after, but before clearcoat.
Did the job for a Honda civic with peeling clearcoat and some paint damage. Looks really great, is a perfect match for the original paint color! 3 coats at least to cover over primer. Some notes:1) watch youtube tutorials for how-to apply best (initial thin coat, then medium overlapping coats)2) BEWARE HUMIDITY. The can says you are fine below 70% humidity, but in real life usage that is not true. It was getting a white powdery misty finish upon drying the second day we worked, and humidity was at 64%. Online troubleshooting revealed that ideal humidity is below 60%3)overspray goes far. Be generous in your protective taping.4) when the can is almost empty the paint droplets coming out will create a rough texture. Not worth it. Toss the can at the end.

If it sucked too bad for him
Ordered this paint for my son's college car. I ordered a replacement bumper cover for my son's 2006 Mazda 3 (Color code 16W) due to a minor fender bender and they wanted $330 to paint it at the body shop. Being this was on a college kids car I was not interested in paying $80 more to paint it than the part costs so I decided to give this a try. If it sucked too bad for him, he has no money he would have to tough it out. Luckily this paint worked like a dream. It is not an exact match but it is close enough that you have to really look more than a glance to tell.I warmed up the garage, put down a drop cloth, followed the painting instructions on the bumper (sanded with 1500 grit and cleaned) and put on 2 coats of the base color. The cans are only 8 ounce and it took slightly more than 1 can. Caution: If you let the can run low it may start to spit and not spray evenly. Get 2 cans and be careful. After the base coats I used the dupli-color clear coat. 2 coats of this and I was done. The clear coat (use 2 cans as well) took some effort to get it on evenly and thick enough without running. I got a couple haze spots near the headlights due to the different angle. I will go back and reapply in spots.I will not lie and say it is show room, new car perfect because it is a spray can for crap sake and it just can't be perfect, but it is pretty good for a spray can paint job on a college kids car. Net savings over going to a body shop - $300

Little shine and droplets from the junk nozzle. Poor product.
Went thru a lot of prep on my hood, I used the Dupli-Color EBUN01007 Universal Gloss Black and things were looking pretty good for a novice like myself (when it comes to automotive painting) I waited the 30min after my last coat of paint and attempted to apply this clear. What a terrible clear coat and total disappointment. There was little shine and droplets from the junk nozzle left a very poor finish. Now I'll have to sand this back down and start over. You get what you pay for! I do not recommend!

It went on like a charm
This spray paint is exactly what I needed. It went on like a charm. If you know how to use spray paint then please disregard all the poor ratings. Spray paint needs to be shaken for more than a minute or two. You also need to spray 6 inches or so from the object being painted. I used 3 cans to paint a bumper cover for an 05 Prius. I put on 4 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear coat. If you know what you are doing then it works great. If not then maybe you shouldn't be doing it.

Worked pretty well!
I have an old beater truck and I replaced a damaged front fender with a new one that was in black primer. Bought a case of this paint, mad a makeshift paint booth and went to town. Took about three cans to do the fender in four coats. Then I topped it off with two coats of clear. It matches just fine for an old truck, although a bit darker than the neighboring body panels. Maybe due to fading? Overall, I'm happy. The front fender in the pictures is the one that was painted.

Does not spray evenly
I'm usually pretty lenient on product reviews but this product was consistently bad. Out of 4 cans; all of them spit in mid-spray for no apparent reason once the can was less that 3/4 full. This caused an uneven and unpleasant result on the hood and top of the car I was using it on. At first I thought it might be because I was spraying a horizontal surface but then it did it on vertical surfaces too. Sorry; I can't in good conscience recommend this product. I had the same results with the black paint of the same brand.

Stay FAR away from this
I honestly don't know how this product has 4 stars. After sanding, and priming my product, I whip out Dupli-Colors can and am already thrown off by the nozzle. Nothing like a Rust-Oleum can, the nozzle looks WIDE open with no means of attempting to even spray evenly. However I press on. Unfortunately my concerns were correct, after vigorously shaking the can for 1-2 mins and keeping it at room.temp, the spray came out chunky and runny, and God help you if you aren't wearing gloves, unless you like looking the color you're spraying cause this will get everywhere else too. I wish I could return this, and somehow get my money back because this is the most useless can of paint I've had the displeasure of using. Not to mention it does not match my car's color after several coats, with 20 min intervals in between. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I will not be returning to this product, and will have to stick with a color red that isn't simply labled "Tornado Red"Buy Rust-Oleum Cherry Red and save your money. Already looks better with one coat. See last picture.

Good colour match
good product, took more than 3 coatings to cover the filler, though.

Exact Colour match
It was used for being the correct colour match for a car manufacturers paint.
