Works great for my needs
I'm very happy with my extra monitor. I have an older 27" Dell All-in-One desktop computer and my hobby is genealogy so I like not having to go back and forth between documents. This monitor is the same size as my all-in-one and matches up nicely. It's not a touch screen, like the all-in-one, but I'm not complaining because I bought it new and it was on sale for a very good deal at the time I bought it. It came with all the necessary parts and cables to hook it up unlike the Dell monitor I bought prior to it and had to return due to not having the correct cables to hook it up. This monitor was easy, even for me, to hook up. I did it all by myself and I'm no techie. It's nice and bright with no reflection unlike my all-in-one which has serious glare. It also has a lot of extra features, such as built in speakers, web cam, and more.

A Decent Option For a Small 1080p TV/Console/Media Display
I bought this because I was in an odd spot: I wanted a small TV to use as a display independent of my PC for playing media, while also being a third display for my desktop if needed. I didn't want a large (40+ Inch) TV, and the TVs I saw under 30" were largely stripped down 720p units that looked pretty bad. Meanwhile, most computer monitors near the 30" mark had much higher resolutions than 1920x1080, since few would want a 1080p display that large. The UZ2715H was one of a very small list of big 1080p displays with speakers, and very little information about it appears to be available online: this model was apparently a poor seller for Dell, who introduced it as an oddball Ultrasharp model aimed at businesses that did a lot of teleconferencing (the UZ2715H also comes with an integrated webcam of mediocre quality and buttons dedicated to starting/ending calls). Adding to the strangeness of this model's positioning in Dell's lineup is the fact that it has a low resolution for an Ultrasharp-branded monitor, it lacks the normal Ultrasharp stand (I bought one on eBay to replace it) and it has an additional letter in its model designation.Dell quietly discontinued the model not too long after it was introduced, and liquidated its stock. That 2015-era stock is what is being sold today, as I received a monitor in winter of 2017 with a build date of mid-2015. Some electronic components such as certain types of capacitors continue aging whether you use them or not, so it's something to be aware of. There was also some (very) slight warping of the front bezel on my unit, which makes me think this old stock might have been stored in a warehouse where things got hot. Essentially at this point they shouldn't be sold as new, but rather "new old stock"--a brand-new item that has been sitting for longer than you would expect for an item sold as new.I haven't commented on the quality of the display itself because it's entirely average, though probably a bit below what you're used to in the Ultrasharp line, owing to this display's odd positioning. It's an IPS panel with great viewing angles, a bright LED backlight and good color rendering...but pretty bad black levels, as are common with more inexpensive IPS panels. I also noticed the usual (acceptable, in my opinion) amounts of backlight bleeding I've come to expect from IPS, along with an unexpectedly big bleed at the bottom left of the panel. Still, it was only noticeable in very dark scenes. The speakers are tinny and you will always wish they could be turned up higher, with some sources/content giving you much better sound levels than others. A remote would also be nice, since the front panel buttons offer no tactile feedback and the printing can be hard to see in a dim room.Dell wasn't aiming this at the home user looking for something largeish (but not 'sit on the sofa and watch' big) to hook a game console/DVD Player/Roku/etc up to, but I think that's who would actually still want to buy this product in 2018. It's great for places you don't want a huge TV mounted on the wall, guest bedrooms, kitchens, etc, and also as a secondary PC display. Outside of the media playing niche, though, you can get a better monitor for less money, so you should ask yourself what you're looking for before buying this.

This Seller is a Scam, According to Dell
We bought a Dell monitor (UZ2715H) that featured a webcam. I need this webcam in my healthcare studies and practice. It does not work, there is no driver for it, there is no tech support with these people (Dell said it was not an authorized product, and the folks I bought this thing said to call Dell), and the Dell people are telling me that they have no idea where this machine came from. Go4Computers appears to be a scam. They took my money, sent me a defective computer monitor, and apparently left town. Can't wait to let my 10,000 LinkedIn and FB followers know about this ripoff place.

quality and replacement difficulties which swayed me to Dell Good value for price point however
Pro's:Vertical wire hookups a plus, they don't stick out the back of monitorDell quality and anticipated customer service (although not used yet). Other monitors were from Korea with many negative comments regarding customer service, quality and replacement difficulties which swayed me to DellGood value for price point however, quality is proportionate. See Con'sCon'sScreen product says "UltraSharp", not sure what is sharp about it as the monitor is not Sharp at all....just another monitor, only bigger, I see NO sharp quality. You can literally see the dots on text so I am very disappointed from this point of view

Excellent Monitor
Very Nice! Works great and has excellent clear text viewing.Exactly what I wanted, more screen real estate!Update, It has been about 5 months since my purchase. The screen has no dead pixals. Colors are vibrant and for the type of work I do, I love the size, contrast and my eye strain is gone. I think the only thing that Dell could have done was to up the refresh rate to 75hz to make this screen better.
