In my professional opinion this is pretty dang good wire
I've been welding and fabricating for well over 20 years. Actually have an Associate of Science in welding. I've worked in all kinds of industries from welding on the farm and ranch, to the oil fields to mom and pop shops to custom fab shops to government contractors (Raytheon), NASA projects, WSMR projects, all the way up to high end aircraft repair and fab (Navy). I've been around. I took a leap and made the transition to a white collar career years ago (BSME) so now I am only a hobby welder. In my professional opinion this is pretty dang good wire. It is more than acceptable for any farm or DIY project. I bought this so I could build a pipe fence around my place. One spool lasted for 200 feet of top rail, with posts spaced every 8 feet. The welder I am using is a Millermatic 211 using the MVP plug for 230V. The wire performed very well in all positions including uphill, downhill, and overhead. Here are some tips for novice welders or those who claim to have issues/poor bead appearance with flux core1.) Make sure your polarity is correct. Flux core requires DCEN (Direct Current Electrode Negative)...which is opposite the polarity that solid wire MIG welding typically uses. If you don't change your polarity, don't blame the wire manufacturer. It's really easy to do. Just read the instructions that came with your machine.2.) Prep your base metals. If you used a torch to cut your components then take the time to clean ALL the slag off with a chipping hammer and grinder. Trust me, this will pay huge dividends in the appearance of your weld3.) The better the "fit" between your two pieces, the better your weld will be both from a strength perspective as well as from a cosmetic perspective. Don't obsess about what gap you need for butt joints. If you are a novice then honestly you shouldn't have much of a gap at all, if any. "What if my metal is thick?" you ask. If your metal is thick then bevel the edges rather than using a gap. Reason? Well if you are a novice then you have no business making PJP or CJP structural welds anyway so the topic of a gap or no gap is irrelevant at your current skill and accountability level. A bevel joint will allow good penetration and will provide more surface to "hold" that bead, improving your chances of a visually pleasing weld bead. It will also be stronger than a tight butt joint with no gap and no bevel.4.) Take the time to grind/clean up the metal in and around the joint you are welding. lightly grind a strip about 1/2" in width, down to clean metal, from the edge of the joint and along the full length of the joint. Yes, fluxcore is a little more forgiving than solid MIG wire with regard to "dirty" base metal, however, don't be lazy. Invest the time. A little cleanup goes a long way.If you take your time and follow steps 1-4 you'll be a better welder before you know it.Although I have lost some flexibility in my welding hand due to a shattered wrist years ago, with this wire you can make good welds. Even on used oilfield pipe. I have attached some pictures of what you can expect with this wire.

Good quality for a reasonable price
I can't compare this to other brands as this is my first time flux core welding but produces a clean weld with easily removed slag. Have extensive stick welding use but all in a DIY caspacity. Just starting off usung flux core. Attached photo is first test. Still learning the new welder. The fact that is a good product and reasonable cost I will only use this. No reason to go elsewhere.

Awesome product
I had been using Lincoln or Hobart flux core wire for years and always had problems with the arc dying, inconsistent heat penetration, and the welds looking like a kid did them. I had thought it was me but no matter how hard I tried I could not get consistent welds. After reading about problems with Lincoln or Hobart, I saw this and decided to try it. The INE is cheaper for 2 lbs than 1 lb is at Lowes. I got this wire and I was flabbergasted at how much better this wire welds. All of my welding problems went away. The arc is so consistent that I have to tell myself to rest for fear of exceeding the duty cycle of my welder (Lincoln 140). The weld quality comes out excellent and the penetration is perfect. I will never buy Lincoln or Hobart wire ever again.

Fair value
very low splatter on my Harbor Freight welder, Blue Demon is much better but Amazon was out at the time. This stuff has excellent penetration but failed a bend test every time on 1/2".For general garden art and what not it is a good by and welds look decent. Definitely not for structural.I would by again to basic stuff to save on premium wire. If your using a 110 HF welder by this in .23 for excellent control of the bead. In my 220 this works good.

Worked great for this newbie
I probably don't know enough to hate this stuff. Worked quite well, I used it to learn to weld. I'm going to go back to the Hobart stuff when this roll is done just for a comparison.Edit: After comparing with some Hobart wire, this stuff is great! WAY less splatter and the Hobart wire seems to want more heat. It's hard to explain. It seems like the puddle is always larger and more fluid using this stuff vs the Hobart wire. Anyway, for a newbie hobbyist with a 110v welder, I'm sticking with this stuff.

Excellent wire.
Excellent wire... I'm an I car certified Auto Collision Tech of 33 years... I can say that this by far the best flux core wire I have ever used..I thought the Lincoln wire was good.. Wow this wire is 100 times better.. and 1,000 times better than the cheap wire most flux core welders come with.. I will not use any other wire from now on ... Try it.. I know you will love it too...

INE wire burns better in my Harbor Freight 90 Amp Flux Cored Welder
I own a Harbor Freight 90 Amp-AC, 120 Volt, Flux Cored Welder ran on a dedicated 30 amp breaker. I ran 4 lbs of INE, 6 lbs of Hobart, 1 lbs of Lincoln, and 4 lbs of Chicago Electric in the last 6 months on projects like fire pits and non-structural repair work. I'm not impressed with the welders duty cycle but INE wire burns better through it than Lincoln, Hobart and Chicago Electric. I'm sure these brands run better in other, higher amp, better quality machines but in mine INE runs the best. When I can't run INE, Hobart is my go to because of price, and its decent. I did have one INE spool that wasn't wound correctly and it wouldn't feed. I just snipped the wire fixed the spool (instead of being on top the wire was underneath another), I only wasted about 6 ft.

Good Wire, easy to work with
2 weeks ago I attempted to weld for the first time with the wire that came with my new welder. It was splatter city. I hooked up this spool and it is night and day difference. So much cleaner and easier to work with. I had no idea wires could be so different. Will buy again.

Fantastic Wire
Finally had great weather and used the wire. Fantastic results, even after a 30yr break in welding.! Extremely low "splatter", feeds great and makes for very nice welds. Super-impressed with this material and most likely won't use any other from now on. Low, on the fumes too. WAY better, than anything delivered with your welder package. A very worth while investment. Get a few rolls when you order, you won't be disappointed..!

happy with the results.
So far, I tried the wire that came with the welder, and it did not look like a nice weld. It spattered all over. The Lincoln was better, but this one is even better.

Excelente
Muy buen alambre para soldar, sobre todo si se compara con el que trae la máquina chicago electric. Tiene buena penetracion.

Great product
Was doing work on thin metal (rocker panels) and this wire worked great. I know it’s flux core but didn’t want to get gas.

Happy with the quality I would recommend to others
Works much better than any other flux core wire I have tried. Much cleaner looking weld and holds well.

Not bad, not good.
No es la mejor, pero tampoco la peor que he probado, pero con unos ajustes de velocidad y amperaje, seguro haces buenos cordones.
