Park B. Smith Peony Shower Curtain, Navy/Natural

We selected this shower curtain primarily because the online description says it is weighted and we liked the color/design. It was to be used in a walk-in shower so being weighted at the bottom was absolutely essential. When it arrived, I discovered that the weight consisted of just two 3/4 inch diameter washers sewed into the bottom hem, one in each bottom corner, totally insufficient to keep the shower curtain from flapping. I also checked the washers with a magnet to see if they were stainless steel. They were strongly attracted to the magnet so they were obviously not stainless, so one could eventually anticipate a rusted and stained shower curtain and floor. My wife removed the stitching holding the washers in, threw the two washers away and replaced them with stainless steel, 1 inch washers, that I picked up at the hardware store. She sewed them in at about 6" intervals. Problem solved with extra effort and expense.

The lightweight fabric and peony print is perfect to update my bathroom for spring and summer. I'll return to my heavier striped curtain when fall rolls around again. My only comments (not a complaint, really) is that the shade of blue is much darker than pictured. On-line I see this as kind of a deep royal blue when in reality the curtain I received is a very dark navy blue. At first, I thought the seller had made a mistake and sent me the black curtain. I found, however, that hanging it over a white shower curtain liner lightened up the print a bit.

Nice shower curtain. Thinner than I thought it would be. I have a window in my shower so the black gets very light during the day but I expected that. I still use a shower liner because it is thin but I really like it!I saw a review that said the flowers were ivory but mine are pure white. I also saw one that said the flowers get bigger at the bottom but mine are the same size throughout.The picture is not that best angle but I thought I'd share what mine looks like since there is not a full length picture!

Beautiful curtain! I was worried this would be a plastic material but it is fabric. Although the flowers are white, you can't actually see through it if someone's showering. It's unlike the typical fabric, as it does seem to repel moisture a bit. The only strange thing is that I've had this curtain for almost a year and it still has the creases from it being folded in the box. I am too lazy to bother ironing it honestly.

The picture of this curtain does not do it justice. It is striking with its deep black background and its pure white flowers. My bathroom is mint green with white cabinets and fixtures. I added black bath towels and mat and white hand towels and wash clothes. I also added a black-faced wall clock with silver rim and numbers. When friends come out of there, they sing its praises. What a wonderful way to transform a bathroom for under $100 for everything!

Was hesitant to buy black. Didn't want to darken the small bathroom too much. But this one is eclxcellent. It's thinner material that lets light come through so I can see while showering. Pattern is bold yet tasteful. Also really like the grommets - my other fabric curtain began to fray from regular removal and washing. Happy with this purchase.

I think this looks a lot cheaper in person. It's not a huge disappointment but it looks nicer in the picture. That always happens though. Nonetheless, it's hanging in my bathroom and it adds a nice pop of color. Would I purchase it again? Probably not. Is it worth returning? Nope. I would say this is an average purchase -- nothing great, nothing awful.

I ordered the blue one and I really like it. The color in the photo is fairly accurate, mine is a touch darker and not shiny.My only issue with it is that it has deep creases in it from packaging. I washed it on the gentle cycle but it didnt do anything to take the folds out.
