Apollo Heavy Skipping Rope [Each] • 9ft Adjustable length x 1.5cm Diameter • Great Cardio Resistance Workout

I really wanted to like this jump rope. It's hard to find sufficiently heavy ones with a weighted rope rather than handles. But the quality just isn't adequate enough to justify the purchase. I've been using it for a few weeks now, jumping on a soft surface (grass or carpet). The rope is already showing major signs of damage in the area that hits the ground. I don't suspect it will stay intact for longer than a few months of regular use. Also, the handles keep unscrewing themselves and swiveling around so much that they constantly snap off unless I pause every 40ish seconds to tighten the screwed bit back on.Then there's the length. The golden rule is that a rope should be at least 3ft longer than your height. This is 9ft exactly. For anyone slightly taller than average, this is just not sufficient. Also, unless it's stored perfectly straight, the rope doesn't maintain its shape at all and gets very crinkly which makes it even more inconvenient to use.All in all, I will use it until it inevitably breaks soon enough, and then invest in a proper one. This one will temporarily do the job but overall, is just not worth the time and money

Good weighted rope. Handles keep coming loose when skipping so need to keep retightening but does the job

Great weight maybe bit heavy for a beginner

Not easy to use coils in itself. O well!!
