What with all the differing reviews out there with competitive products to the Mega Catch, I was hesitant to actually order one. I should have ordered this months ago. SUPER easy to set up, caught over 4 dozen skeeters from sundown to sunrise the first time used. No propane, no breakdowns, just sweet delicious mosquito death. I live in Florida and after a huge rain where I had some standing water in my backyard I set the Mega Catch up and away we went. I havent' used the Luminol scent addition yet but may order one just for fun. Just used 2 drops of dishwashing soap with 4 TBS. of cranberry juice and man those mosquitos were very attracted to the whole operation. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy a wooded backyard WITHOUT uninvited mosquito guests.

This unit is an over priced moth attractant. It does not work for mosquitoes. Don't Recommend for hundreds of dollars!!!!

Did not catch many mosquitos.

I bought two insect control systems. One is a traditional bug zapper, Flowtron BK-40D for $65, and the other is the Mega-Catch Pro. I have the Flowtron placed near my stream at the edge of a field and it just goes OFF. On the warm summer evenings I am zapping like one bug per second. With the Mega-Catch Pro I have it placed in the shade under a cedar tree area that has a lot of mosquitos. I have used both the net and the wet trap. The Mega does ok, but it seems like the reassuring zaps I hear from the Flowtron make it seem like it is doing a much better job.... hard to say after only one month of use though. The two of them together are really taking a bite out of the insect problem... just wish it didnt catch as many moths somehow... I dont mind those flying around.

I live in North Ga. The mosquitos this year are off the charts because of all the rain we've had. I've experimented with formulas, placement, etc. I cannot walk outside without getting bit. It does has NOT rid me of mosquitos completely in any way, shape or form. It may have reduced them somewhat. But I still have to use mosquito repellant, and I STILL get bit.

We live in Florida next to a preserve and a lake this is the best thing EVER We even had a follow up call from New Zealand to make sure it was put in the right place. Don't bother with any other companies we really dud our home work and it payed off big time. Just a not you do need to do the three way thing treat the eggs on the grass with insecticide have a repellant near your for the first few week and then it does the rest after 6-8 weeks the breeding cycle is gone A FANTASTIC PRODUCT CAN NOTE RATE HIGHER
