Just as described!
Got the item super fast. Very happy that the expiration date is due on January 2025. This is my second purchase and super happy with it. I had purchased from other vendors and they usually ship ketone strips that are about to expire. Price is reasonable too. I will keep purchasing from this vendor.

So expensive but so easy
My gosh these are insanely expensive. Really hurt my pocket purchasing these but definitely worth it to have on hand. My 11 yo daughter has type 1 diabetes and using the urine test strips can be so hard especially late at night or at school. Works like a charm just wish they weren’t so devastatingly expensive.

Not disappointed!
I’ve been ordering these strips for my child’s meter for a while now. The expiration date is always far enough out we use them all before they are close to expiring. They are also reasonably priced compared to other websites and our pharmacy.

Insurance won’t cover them for my diabetic kid
Great for keeping track of current ketones (the urine strips are behind by around 2 hours). We use them for my type 1 diabetic kid, whenever she’s sick or we’re struggling with resistant high blood sugars. They take more blood than typical glucose test strips, so you have to make sure to get a good poke; other than that they are easy to use and seem to be accurate.Unfortunately we haven’t found an insurance that will cover these, maybe because there’s a misconception that anyone who wants them is just tracking ketones for their diet; so the price stings a little, especially since we use them so infrequently. I’d definitely say they’re worth picking up if you’re trying to manage type 1, as knowing current ketone level is super important, DKA can come on fast.

A must have at a great price
If you are doing strict keto and what to know if you are in ketosis, or want to know what throws you out, and how long it takes to get back in ketosis. You really need the tester and test strips.. Man everywhere else these things are crazy expensive. Best price I have found right here on Amazon

After going through 3 I get it now
I didn't understand how these were supposed to work so after getting errors E-7 once and E-3 twice and almost giving up, I decided to do one more try with a larger drop of blood and a different technique. Previously I was getting a drop out and jamming it into the strip, pressing on it. THIS IS NOT THE WAY. Just barely touch the drop's edge to the white part of the strip and you'll see it suck into the strip and beep. Now that I have this down, I love these and they're a decent deal at under $1 each currently. The Precision Xtra meter is also good and works with these. I'm using a Delica with #33 lancets and they work pretty well (and don't hurt at all), but it might be better to go with a #30 because of the amount of blood needed. I had to turn the wheel on the Delica all the way to 7 to get enough for this. YMMV, but it will work with practice!

Works great
I have recorded this many times and just received a new shipment yesterday. I use them for my fast and keto and test results of strips is consistent with previous log notes from earlier fasts.

I need to update my review- These test strips use to ship with an expiration date more then a year out. Now they are 5-6 months from expiration. I’m REALLY DISAPPOINTED! This is one of the things we MUST have on hand for my diabetic child. However we ONLY need to use them when she is ill. We get sick around here-once or twice a year. So chances are I will throw most of these away at the expiration date. Throwing money I don’t have - in the garbage. This essentially doubles my cost and I believe the actual cost went up too. Really sad. My daughter is a Type 1 diabetic. We need to test her ketones when ever she is sick or if her blood sugar is very high. She’s 5 and it’s hard to get her to pee especially if she’s sick so I picked this meter up at the pharmacy and had to oreder these strips from Amazon. My insurance wouldn’t cover either of them. I guess they’re not concerned that ketones can develop rapidly in a small child and can send her into DKA needing hospitalization and can been life threatening. So I’m left buying these lifesaving strips on Amazon instead of paying $60 for 10 strips at the pharmacy. Anyways they came wrapped in bubble wrap and I was concerned the knotches cut into the foil wrapper meant they were somehow bootleg. I tried one and it didn’t work. I tried another and the same result. The meter didn’t turn on. I was really upset and filed a return claim. I though I’d give it one one more try before returning. This time I jammed the strip into the meter and it worked! Our other meter that we use to test blood sugars is very delicate. So I was gently trying to insert these strips and I guess that’s just not how this meter operates. You must forcefully push them in. I’ve used almost all of them already as we went through a bout of stomach flu and I had to test her ketones every 4 hours. They all worked fine. Buying more for our next round of illness- sure do wish my insurance would actually cover these lifesaving strips.
