Seriously, please do not do that. That would be extremely harmful for you and whomever else you cook for.

do a light paint now, let it dry then paint again for better results.

Q: How high of temp can it sustain? says intermittent up to 2000°f. kinda ambiguous. can it do 1600f for 1hour?

i used this product on my 4 pistion calipers and tested them at my campus garage, i tested it under constant and heavy braking, it withstood temps up too 1989F. The red paint i used has been on there for 3 years and i still havent had to touch up the paint

Q: Does this contain zinc to work as a good primer for aluminum?

Not sure this answers your question but I can tell you from experience that this stuff really works. I used it on my aluminum engine top side and it's been 2yrs and my engine paint still look new to date.
