GEWD18X10026 Genuine OEM Sump Inlet for GE Dishwashers

Original part cracked (have no idea how or why), luckily saw where water was coming from and took a chance ordered the new part. The part is perfect fit but due to tight space and various clamps that have to be removed, you must take your time. However after the sump is properly situated and all clamps tightened , we have success! No more leaks. BTW part DOES NOT come with clamps, my picture was taken AFTER i moved some existing clamps from old part to new part

Fits and works great

Very easy to install and saved me from having to buy another dishwasher (or hire a repairman). There are a a few videos online that show how to replace this. Excellent purchase and I hope to get several more years out of an already old dishwasher!

Used to replace original housing that was flaking into pieces and covering all the dishes with white particles. Took me about 2 hours to complete all the job (disconnecting hard wiring, hoses, removing unit and then reconnecting the wiring and hoses). Now unit works better than it has in years and all dishes are sparkling clean. Reason for only 4 stars is that the Genuine GE replacement part is made of the same material that began disintegrating in the first place.

This is a perfect replacement. It is probably a little bit expensive because of the GE name. But it does the job perfectly.

Exact replacement part for my GE Profile Dishwasher. Took about an hour to pull out the old one and reinstall this one. Make sure that you look up your model number and the part specifications on the GE website to ensure that you have the correct piece. This $35 part saved me $1200 on a replacement dishwasher.

Awesome replacement part. Make absolutely sure you get the right one. Made a mistake on mine which caused an additional 2 day repair delay. Otherwise very easy install. Use this opportunity to clean out the sump and directional water jets etc. mine had all sorts of junk in them - toothpick pieces etc. don't ask me how they got there but they were clogging my jets. The mincer blades also had hair and string type material so give your machine a good thorough cleaning while replacing this part. It was actually me cleaning mine in the first place that helped me see this part needing replacing. The tube that faces upwards had totally disintegrated which caused improper water flow to jets. Easy replacement. Back up and running with an almost new dishwasher even though it is several years old.

Bought this part to fix our GE Profile dishwasher, which had sprung a leak in the original. This replacement fit perfectly. Didn’t have any issues during installation. It’s held up fine ever since.
