Great for AirPrint.
I bought this HP Deskjet 3634 Wireless Color Photo printer for a Christmas present for my mom to use with her iPad and iPhone. I love the white, sleek design. It is fairly small in size as well. She has no home internet (no wifi) so I wanted something that she could print from without wifi. This HP Deskjet 3634 was super simple to unbox and connect. Then once I got it fired up I searched on the wifi network setting in iphone for the connection labeled "AirPrint." All in all It only took some unwrapping of the product and less than 20 minutes to start printing using apple airprint. I love HP because there is 1 color and 1 black cartridge. Printers like Canon w more cartridges cost more to replace ink. This is probably my 5th HP printer. This is a great basic printer/scanner for anyone and the price can't be beat. I got it on special for $30 and I think that is a super value.

Simple, inexpensive - and no cables!
The cost of the printer, which includes black and colored ink cartridges, is only $20 more than the ink cartridges - a really great price at the onset.Setup was easy with the enclosed CD, so did not find out if on-line is as easy. The printer sits by itself in another room, awaiting a remote command from my computer to print. So far it performs flawlessly. Of course one has to make sure it doesn't run out of paper, or ink eventually is all. Am completely satisfied at the simplicity - an also the cost.

Setup! Most difficult computer related task I have ever attempted!
I'd give this zero stars if I could! This will likely be my LAST HP product ever!!! After having to download and REdownload the drivers twice, and some sort of HP doctor app, I finally got this wireless printer to connect to my home wi-fi (2 hours). Attempted to print an Excel doc, selected the HP printer in properties, clicked print, and nada! Checked the wifi button on the printer... solid blue non-blinking light (indicating it is connected). Went to HP doctor again which could not find the printer (said it wasn't connected... printer says otherwise). Used HP "virtual" assistant, which was anything but, and finally got it to prompt to speak to an actual HP assistant. Plugged in the product ID on the brand new box from my Amazon purchase that arrived today... no warranty could be verified. WTH?!?! Then it prompted me to talk to someone via phone... FINALLY! Just had to fill in a few items... email address, again to confirm, and my phone number. Wait... the submit button is shaded out and will not let me click it!!! Aaaarrgghh!!! 3 hours later, and a pretty printer is all I got... as in pretty worthless!!!Edit: Took one last effort. Googled and found an HP support number and called it, hoping a live person would respond and assist. Instead, got a 30 minute loop of "Your call is important to us. Please remain on the line for the next available operator." with no pause between repeating! Yup! 30 minutes of that madness! HP support is non-existent! I'm returning this and buying a Canon. I don't care if it IS more expensive!

Good, inexpensive printer
Im typically not a fan of HP products, but I have enjoyed this printer. Setting it up was a breeze, getting wifi working was cake, and for the cheap price it looks and works great! This printer is connected to HP servers so they can send you reminders about buying ink, or having it ordered automatically when you're getting low. Kind of a cool feature if you print a lot. I rated 4 stars because it prints fairly slow and feels slightly cheap construction. However, for the price, it's exactly what I was expecting.

Easy Installation
This printer was installed today and was up and running with only one small glitch. The instructions wanted me to go to a web address to download software and it was not available. This did not matter since I was able to install what was needed from the included CD. Pay attention to the unpacking instructions to get at the power and data cords since their access is not intuitive. The printer found my wireless network without any problem and was able to log right into it. Print quality was quite good, but I do not plan to do photos with this printer so that is unknown. HP assigns an email address for the printer so you can send it things to print from a remote location. I doubt that i will do this but it is an interesting feature. So far there have been no popups to get me to subscribe to Instant Ink, but they may come after I have done some printing. So far printer installation has gone as well as possible.

Awesome. I have a work situation where I need a printer/scanner but don't have the Internet. I downloaded the HP app for my iPhone and connected it to the printer. From there, I can scan print and save documents using my phone's Internet/data. It's great. The printer works very well smooth and fast.*** One very important thing to note. I spent about two hours on the phone with the HP support (which finding a phone number to call is pretty close to impossible! They really don't want you to call, they want you to solve issues by reading stuff online) The printer wireless needed a password for my phone to connect to. There was no password anywhere to be found. After two hours on the phone, the technician found out that the password is "12345678". Once I connected, it's worked great!
