It's so easy
I needed something that would erase well without smearing my adult coloring books. I had seen this eraser used in several YouTube video tutorials. I decided to take a chance & I am very happy with it. I practiced on some copy paper with both Prismacolor & Faber-Castell pencils. The eraser made quick work of lightly colored lines, even reds & blues. In places where I had layered, I was able to take off as many or few of the layers as I wanted! I learned that it is important to use quick, light touches to the paper. If you hold the eraser to the paper too long, the tooth of the paper is destroyed & you won't be able to lay down any pencil color. This works well for Johanna Brasford, Denise Klette, Creative Haven, ColorIt, & other fine coloring books. I recommend using the eraser lightly on any other book, after testing a back page. The eraser head itself is great, there is hardly any wear showing & I have used it quality a bit - decided to completely erase focal point of page as to change color palette!Great price & I really like this company. I have bought other products from them and they are top notch.

Product works as described.
This mechanical eraser is amazing. I use it for my sketchbook drawings. Brings out brilliantly white highlights, especially with graphite and charcoal. I’ve had this product for several years and still have plenty of eraser heads. Battery life is good, too.

This works well but could be so much better
This thing works as described however there are some pitfalls. At least with the one I bought, the erasers work well, but really only when they're new. It looks like you can move them as the eraser goes away and it will set it back up to run again, but I've found that's not really the case. once you flip it one time about half the eraser may as well be thrown out. The clamping mechanism that squeezes the eraser refills is really weak and I ended up throwing a lot more away than I thought i would need to.But, based on the price, I don't think I'm going to buy refills, I'll just buy the same package again. it's actually cheaper than I'm seeing refill kits for.I thought the motor would be stronger and i thought the eraser could have lasted longer, but again for the price, it's OK for me.I'll use it, but I'm going to look for alternatives

I didn't think this would really make much of a difference with Prismacolors, but I was wrong and very happy to admit it
Working in Prismacolors (both premiers and verithins), it can be extremely difficult to remove the wax layers when trying to erase, and more often than not, you end up smudging the edges and ruining crisp lines. I've never had an electric eraser before and thought that it would be a nice accessory to have, but definitely nothing groundbreaking that would truly impact my drawings.I was wrong. This electric eraser is a tremendous tool to have on hand and I am truly surprised by how well it works with colored pencils - especially Prismas. Of course when you are about 20 layers deep on certain areas, this won't remove everything and make the paper brand new, but it certainly will create excellent highlights that are often better than when I try to use whites to get the same effect. Erasing areas with 10 or fewer layers of wax (and I have a decently heavy hand), you can get pretty much pure paper showing through again.Ohuhu is not a brand I've ever used before, but they certainly made this product well. I've also used it with my Staedler, Derwent and Royal graphite pencils, and all of these had great results as well. For a product I didn't think anyone really needed, and a brand that I didn't have any reason to trust, I was pretty blown away by the results. If you're questioning getting one yourself, do it. Even if it's not perfect (although I personally have clearly had excellent results based one what I mentioned before), you will definitely be happy to have this at your side.My ONLY (literally only) complaint so far is that the eraser tips can slide down/into the grip slowly if you push excessively hard, but it's such a slow occurring problem that only happens when I'm pressing down with more force than I should be anyways, I can hardly complain at all.A+ tool to have if you use PrismacolorsA+ quality from a brand I've never even heard of before trying this eraserStellar job, Ohuhu! You've earned my trust!

Quite powerful and effective! Exceeded my expectations.
I have been pleasantly surprised by how well this little thing works. I was initially unimpressed with it when I first got it, but it turns out that I had put in used batteries that accidentally been put in the "brand new batteries" container. After putting _brand new_ batteries in it, it's been pretty great. It does a good job and the batteries seem to last a commendable amount of time. I've been using this primarily with colored pencil, which can be notoriously stubborn and difficult to erase, but this has been quite effective. One must-buy with this is an erasing shield, like the Alvin Stainless Steel Erasing Shield (3298) 2 PACK. It makes it much much easier to do precise erasing and to ensure you don't erase something you don't *want* erased.
