I'm really pleased with this. It's really good quality I've put it on my garden wall. I'm impressed by this. I would certainly recommend this product

Bought this for my grandson who had expressed interest in bugs. Budding entomologist? Some of the sawdust had inevitably escaped and was in the packaging when I pulled it out, as this product is not shrink wrapped. So be warned, best to open it outdoors over soil. I didn't, so an irritating dustpan and brush extra job. It is exactly as illustrated; sturdy, and pretty, if that's the word. If I was a bug, I would be mightiiy impressed. Only time will tell of course if they are going move in. But I like it.

This is fun to have and is a perfect gift for a gardener or a biology fan. Would also be fun for primary schools to be a teaching aid for ecology. I'll submit an update when I see how many bugs decide to move in. Sturdily made.

JUST WHAT I WAS LLOKING FOR

Nicely made and finished bug house, with a metal roof to keep the worst of the weather off, and with the internal components safe behind a mesh screen. Simple hanger at the back to screw to a post or wall and I am delighted with this purchase.

Seems okay but the back of the product has been bashed and seems to be residue glue on the roof. Also someone on the production line has written on the roof with marker which is hard to remove. Overall not great quality for money paid.

I bought this as a present for my Father who enjoys the wildlife in the garden. I admit that at first he was unsure what it is, but once that was overcome, he immediately found a good place to put it up in the garden and has been enjoying it ever since. I have yet to ask him if any insects have moved in, but I will be most surprised if they don't. Well constructed and sturdy with loads of interesting shapes and holes for insects of all types.

Well put together and the metal 'roof' will help keep the wood from shrinking or warping. I haven't had any guests yet, but it was later in the year when we set it up.

I love the look and the arrangement of different habitats for a variety of bugs. The all wood parts and pine cones really are inviting to the little guys. Our Mason bees should live inside happily and protected. My one project with it is to create weather proofing by covering it with an exterior urethane.
