These moon rings are thinner than the ones that came with the Rhino which were too thick and caused too much friction when rotating the cylinder. The only thing I noticed is that not to use Blazer brand ammo since the the indented part has a larger circumference, making them harder to put into the moon clip. Remington and Federal seem to work best

These look great and fit in my Rhino 40DS. The are definitely more stiff than factory clips. However, they don't perform any better than the factory moon clips. The rounds are just a loosely held, and come with several down-sides.- Rounds are generally held securely, but at about 1% cannot be retained. They call out and can be reinserted with no resistance. These rounds mount fine in the factory clips.- The center opening in the star is slightly smaller than factory which prevents me from using them on center-post moon clip holders. They also do not sit flat on the BMT Mooner- They bend much more easily than the factory moon clips. Two of them are deformed after 3 range trips while none of the factory clips have bent.I might be able to alleviate the second issue above by using a different mooner and modifying my holder, but I'd still have moon clips that don't load any smoother or easier. I'm so frustrated with these, that I'm going to throw them away. What a waste.
