Don't know about the XL size, but on a medium it's 66 cm

No, there aren't any inside pockets

Q: reading few reveiw, is it really on the small side? size L here but prefer tight on me, so not sure should go for xl

The large will be fine. It will fit well. I ordered the XL just to be sure but its big on me. I ordered another one large and it fits well.
