Certainly a poor Product
I own a manual caliper and for ease of use, I thought I would purchase one of these. It worked okay but it is so sensitive, that it turned on and the battery burned out. Since I didn't notice it until AFTER the warranty period, I am stuck with it. I even manually shut it off, but it was so sensitive, that any movement turned it back on again. If anyone is thinking of purchasing one of these, I would recommend going to a reloading site like Lyman , Hornady or RCBS and purchasing one of their calipers. You will pay a few dollars more, but if it doesn't work well, You can send it back to the company, and they will replace it for you. That is what I am planning next.On the other hand, I have a manual Lyman Dial Caliber, which I have been using for years, and works just as well.At least I don't have to worry about the battery dying at the most inappropriate time.

Gimme an inch...
I really like this affordable Digital Caliper Measuring Tool . Sure, it's not as good as the pricier models, but it's steel, it's easy to see, easy to set, easy to use. It comes in a case with a small screwdriver (for the battery cover - unlike cheaper ones that slide on AND FALL OFF, this one STAYS ON with two tiny screws) and a spare battery. It had a battery in it already, so opening the box it was all set to go. No fuss, no muss, just measure. It's easy to set to zero, switch on/off, and change from mm to inch. For me personally I use the mm side mostly, even though I'm in the U.S. I made beaded jewelry and most items are in mm usually. This Digital Caliper makes measuring what I gotta measure SO NICE.Affordable at just over $20, it's exactly what I was looking for. If you're machining parts or doing fabrication with super tight small tolerance factors, this might not work as well for that application, in which case you'd be spending a far bigger chunk of change. For crafts and DIY home projects, repairs at workplace or car, this model is great.

Product details do not match details listed in product summary
Realized after ordering that the price was increased to make it look like it was a better deal for Black Friday ($16.79 down from $59.99). After doing some research it seems like the majority of the "cheap" calipers all use mostly the same parts.Other considerations:1. Product listing states "【EXCELLENT ACCURACY MEASUREMENT】Unlike most inaccurate electronic digital calipers, with an accuracy within .0005-inch/.01-mm" but later lists the accuracy as 0.2mm.2. Product listing states "Measures internal and external dimensions, diameters, depth and steps in inch/millimeter/fractions." It does not measure in fractions.3. Pressure required to slide the calipers varies along the length of the calipers. They also grind a lot while opening and closing.4. Edges of the tool were not finished well and had burrs along the entire length of the tool. I had a few small cuts from it after using it. Seems better after de-burring the edges.

Very good caliper for the price.
Bought to replace an old pair of dial vernier calipers not were beyond repair, used them for outside the shop use. Read the reviews on a lot of other electronic calipers and decided on these. So far so good. Not as smooth as I hoped but very usable. Have not used them much in their intended purpose, but have "played" with them in the shop on my Brigdeport mill conversion to VFD from RFC project. My Starret dial calipers are still my gotos in the shop. But they have turned on and off reliably, no turning on in the case as a couple reviews stated. All in all, a good purchase.

Broke in 10 minutes of use
Title is not an exaggeration, I know how to use digital calipers and for the price I wasn't expecting anything high quality. But these calipers stopped working within 10 minutes. The read-out just simply stopped. And before that, after every use I had to zero it out. I knew they wouldnt be THAT accurate but come on.Btw the only thing stainless steel on this is the ruler portion.

A Life-Saver in building a tractor motor...
Amazing for the price... seems accurate and dependable. Only thing, you have to make sure it's zeroed in, as after a few measurements it may get just a tiny bit off. The fitted case and extra battery is the "cream on top." I was concerned that it might be some unusual battery, but it's one that's available most anywhere... Good Deal!

Great caliper. Includes fractional estimates!
I don't think it shows in the stock pictures, but this comes in a solid plastic box, which is very important for a delicate tool like this.Much better than harbor freight calipers- Zeroes out perfectly.Comes with an extra battery which is a bonus, and comes with an extra mode that includes fractional estimates, which is very cool.Made a great Father's Day gift!

So-so electronics.
The appearance and function of this instrument is good, but the electronics seem a bit unstable. It may se!ect metric or U.S. measurements without user input, requiring a correction by the user. Still, for an inexpensive tool, not bad. I'm used to Starrett™, Browne & Sharpe™, Mitutoyo etc., so it's unlikely that a much less costly tool can match the quality of the top instruments.
