These folks have an inspiring verbal description of their product. But the coconut oil itself is not inspiring. I don't know what to say. This has happened before. I bought two bottles of Oregano Oil from companies in Greece. One of them had intense paperwork about how well they purified their oil, and it was completely clear. The other had less talk, the oil was colored orange and it was much more effective. Also, judging by bottle size and shape, these folks supply coconut oil for Trader Joe's. Does that mean they are cutting corners on quality to lower their prices? I really don't know.

Coconut Oil Pulling - who'd guess why?
Purchased this for gum disease and "oil pulling" . Clear, pure oil as it arrives but once opened it naturally becomes an opaque solid - the natural room temperature state for coconut oil. Just beginning the oil pulling but pleasant taste to the oil so it's an easy activity Do follow advice and dispose of the oil as with any other oil - not down any household drain since it does solidity and over time would cause problems.

Gritty
I tried this oil because another brand I got from Amazon isn't currently available. I didn't care for it. It was gritty. The gritty melts as you rub it on. It also had no taste and the other oil I had gotten had a faint taste of coconut that I like. The plus is it is in a glass jar.

My FAV beauty product! Smells amazing (like coconut duh) I use it on my skin, face, hair. I give some to my dog and cat once a week for hair balls etc and because my dog love it more than anything in this world, seriously she comes running when I open the jar! My skin smells awesome and is soft as can be :)

best on the market
I've tried other coconut oils and this one is hands down the best. I actually crave this one. Its perfect for oil pulling and smoothies. YUMMY! I haven't seen it on amazon in a while tho.. I'm looking to buy more but I only want this brand.

designer price (too high!) but good coconut oil.
Years ago, before coconut oil was a designer food, & even shunned for internal use,this would have cost 3 or 4 dollars. I'm not impressed with the "designer price" tag. But this is good coconut oil.
