Another Update: After having and using the tote pretty much every workday for about 9 months (without heavy weight) it's time to throw it out.No, I am not looking into using the warranty to get it replaced; I am too busy and I wonder how many actually have the time to through the process of utilizing a warranty.Many reviews describe how quickly the tote falls apart and it dawned on me that I would just be a wheel in a throw-away society if I went through with my initial update contemplations. Time to get a sturdier, not-too-expensive, sleek looking business tote.Update: after dragging the bag to work for 8 straight months it doesn't look presentable any more. It's a roomy bag so of course one will put stuff into it which creates some weight on the handles to bear and by now the handles have torn so much that it is only a matter of which one of the straps will tear off first from the body of the bag. Also, by now the pleather has scruff marks and it can't be taken out in public anymore (well, I am still using the bag but am embarrassed by it). However, I removed only one star from my original five-star rating because I am still so impressed by the new bag's look/design that I am debating whether I shouldn't just buy a new one and plan on buying a new one every 6 months or buy a more pricey laptop tote that will last for 2 years.Initial Review:This bag is great. It's cheap but doesn't look it. OK it also doesn't look like a $200+ leather bag but it also is not blatantly obvious that it is pleather.Pros:Tasteful and good quality exterior and interior designVery roomy interior (the flat bottom is perfect) but doesn't look ueber-tote; a perfect cross between a handbag and a toteThe initial chemical smell of plastic is not too bad and it airs out quicklyBecause it is so reasonably priced I don't mind dinging it and don't gasp if it gets a scratch but it turns out it is surprisingly resistant to scratches and tearsCons:So far none but I don't expect it to last as long as a leather bag

I am SO happy I made this purchase! It is so professional looking and fits my Macbook Pro 15 perfectly (with room to spare). In addition, I am able to put a few notebooks, files, and my charger in the case. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. The stitching is beautiful - more pronounced than on the picture here. I have received many compliments on the bag. The quality is excellent and the price was even better. I looked for a very long time for a professional looking (think lawyer) bag and was hesitant to purchase this because initially I was looking for something a little more shiny - but I'm glad I didn't find that shiny bag because this bag is far better than I was expecting. It arrived quickly and in good condition. I will not hesitate to make another purchase from this company.

The quality of this bag is excellent, and the lining is beautifully red...the leather is strong... I havent used it yet to tell you about its durabilty, but it looks strengthy. The inside of the bag has places for your keys, mobile phone, card, pens, etc.The problem is that it is toooooo huge for my 13" laptop, or even your 16" laptop...The picture shown did not totally give you the right perspective of its real size.I am satisfied with it anyway, though I hoped that it was a little bit smaller=========Now that I have used the bag to travel, i am loving it more than i first received it. It is very strong and i used it to carry my laptop and many other heavy things. And I am not getting used to its size... i've seen bigger ones, so I think mine is not THAT big after all!Recommended!

I just got this bag today so I will try to remember to update the review after use. First impressions: exactly as described. My only complaint upon opening the packaging is that the cell phone pocket is dated (too small for current phones), and the padding for the laptop seems thin.It’s a very attractive bag. It’s put together nicely. The “new bag smell” is minimal. I will update after use... it seems that it will hold up well, but we’ll see.

I used this a laptop/medical bag. This is my 2 one over the past 12 years! The straps wear out because I have a lot in the bag. So, I have brought just the straps in the past to put on my old bag. I don’t if that is still possible but I will try it again before I buy another one. But the price really isn’t bad.

Recently, I purchased a new 2 in 1 laptop. I wanted something both reasonably priced and professional looking to tote around my new electronic. This bag works perfectly! It doesn't look cheap and is very roomy. For example, I went to a 2 day conference and was able to carry my laptop, iPad, leather portfolio, small notebook, water bottle and snack all in this nifty tote! I love the fact it has separate compartments for pens, keys, flash drives, etc. as well as a padded place for the laptop and other spaces for items such as file folders, notebooks, etc. If you are looking for a professional looking and affordable tote option, you can't go wrong with this one!

I frequently carry my laptop home from work. I started with an attache style, but it felt bulky and too formal. Then the backpack - lots of storage & casual, but hard to to shoulder with a purse. This tote is perfect. The bottom is wider than the pictures show, so I can throw some fruit or tupperware in, but not quite big enough to put my purse in, too. That's okay, because I can put both on the same shoulder comfortably. The padding is just okay and there is a heavy plastic smell that takes a few days to air out, but those are the only cons. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.
