i bought this one because i lost my previous one from this brand and i was in a panic!!! i LOVE this glass file, most glass files i’ve bought off amazon hardly file anything off and take so long to get the job done! i’m a nail tech, and i like to use these glass files for myself only (because you can’t disinfect these sadly :( ) and it’s my holy grail! i love that you can go in a see-saw motion with these, rather with a disposable file you have to file in one swipe in the same direction only.

This file is a game changer for me ? Usually other files leave my nails with a rough feel to them thus one is like magic. Leaves a smooth clean surface. Now the feeling of glass rubbing your nail might feel weird at first almost like scratching a chalk board kind of feeling, but I promise it goes away after a few nails. Now I love it!! Wash it let it air dry and place in its cute little case. I think I will be putting these in all my friend stockings for Christmas this year

Best nail file I’ve ever used in my entire life.Was skeptical because I never heard of a glass file but I can NEVER imagine using the typical files. It’s much less harsh on the nail edges and 80% more effective. Would buy again or even as a gift for friends because it’s that good

This nail file is revolutionary! Who would have thought a file made out of glass could file my nails so well. Two thumbs up! And after using it, you can wash it and its as good as new.

The file itself is nice. You can tell that the file part isn't sprayed on, and it is in fact etched, so this should last as long as I don't break it. The pearly finish on the side you hold however, does appear (to me) to be sprayed on, so the longevity of that aspect is still up for debate, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the piece. It is also worth noting that the case is simply made of plastic, not metal like you might think. But it seems like it will be okay for protecting the file while it isn't in use, as long as you aren't too rough with it. I've seen other glass files that come with leather cases as well, but this seems like a better option for overall protection, even though it looks/is cheap.This is my first glass nail file, and I will say that although it is a different feel from the disposable ones I am used to, it isn't offensive. And considering it will last an indefinite number of years, I think it should save money in the long run. If I were rating only the glass file, I would have given 5 stars, but my rating for the entire product is 4 because of the somewhat cheap case, which I don't foresee aging well.

I had bought a six-pack of cheaper glass files before and they wore out quickly. Bought this one because it’s supposed to last longer. Haven’t had it long enough to fully test it, but the grit on this file is noticeably different than that on the cheaper files, so I’m hopeful.

As effective as an emery board, yet SO smooth and gentle on the nails. Plus, it's quiet! Like, no filing sound at all. It's as if you're grooming your nails with a sleek piece of ice. A real treat if your nails are thin with vertical ridges, as mine are.

I've used this nail file a few times now and it's good. It files my nails smoothly without any snagging and hasn't lost it's edge. Its gentle but effective. Good for natural nails. The pastle green looks nice and just like in the photos. It comes with a hard carrying case that makes it easy to toss in my toiletry bag without worrying about damage. Looks like ill be able to use this for a while. An upgrade to my nail routine.
