Pace Setter 82-2920 Kat-Back Adapter Kit

Came with the passenger side hangers for a standard GT cat-back (I used a "flow master" 50 series kit) .This is one of those simple-but-difficult installs, easy idea but took a little work with a file and a little patience to get it all tight and oriented correctly.Make sure to install a heat shield around the fuel/brake hoses on the passenger side, the instructions claimed to come with a heat shield but I sure didn't find one. So I bought a fiber heat sleeve to put around those hoses and held it in place with a clamp.I give it a 4.5/5.. sure it could have been slightly better but I can't imagine it being a lot better, it worked well.

This is one of the most frustrating products I have ever encountered. Out of the package, I was pleased with the initial impressions. That's where the positives stop. After following the instructions perfectly, this part is far from "easy to slip on". Each half of the h-pipe fit well with onto there cut y-pipe, but good luck trying to get the h-portion that connects the two pipes to go together. I also tried fitting it on with the h section already together, and no luck. Ultimately, the piece got stuck together partially, will the muffler ends pointing at odd angles and the h portion having a large gap. It took a hammer to get it back off, and now won't work for anything except garbage. I will try to return, but most likely will be told their poor design (perhaps the part is out of spec?) Is my fault.

thank you amazon love u as always its been a pleasure. cant give a 5 till its on my duel exhaust kit but thank u so much it is the 94-98 h pipe adapter just like the ad says it was. will upgrade to 5 when its on my mustang.
