Overall this sled seems like good quality. As described there is an extra layer of material on the bottom of the sled. Being able to use a mattress pump meant inflating the sled in less than a minute. It took forever to inflate our previous model with the tiny valve opening. Sadly all our snow melted before we were able to use it, still waiting for an opportunity to test.However, the sled has tiny handles. If you are an adult wearing winter gloves, you will have a hard time getting even two fingers into the handles. They need to be considerably larger. See the image. This will make using the sled difficult. That is a substantial design flaw.

It's well built, has an easy to inflate one way valve and it works - somewhat. This is a large tube and can easily fit one large adult and child at the same time. It has more friction with the snow because it is large and that makes it slow. Unless you have smooth groomed hills to ride on, youre going to want the smaller tubes. This tube constantly slowed or stopped on hills.

We bought two of these for our kids as a Christmas gifts. We got our first good snow to use them beginning of February. Take them out of the box to find that the warranty is only valid if you register the product within seven days of purchase. That didn’t happen. So I was obviously very frustrated when one of them deflated within 10 minutes of playing in the snow. The other one worked great but we cannot find a leak or a hole anywhere on the deflated one. Too late to use the warranty and too late for a refund on Amazon. Very disappointed because the one that’s still useable is great.

It was easy to blow up and there is a large valve so you can deflate it fast. We blew it up once (easy and fast to do) and it lasted all weekend. We used it over snow and ice, and it was also dragged over brush and rocks and didn’t get damaged. It is super fast and strong enough to hold tall and heavy adults and teenagers. The base and top are covered so you don’t touch the snow when you slide down. It has two handles but we tied a rope to the handles to make it easier to drag up the hills. Great product! It made our trip a blast we will save it for our next trip.

Ordered the same tube last winter and loved it. Figured I would get another for the family. Not the same experience this time. Same great service in ease of ordering and fast delivery. The tube is the problem. Different material, smaller handles, less air capacity and SLOW! Much more friction/drag with this year’s model. It is not worth sending back, but will be ok for little kids who don’t want to go fast. Travels about half the distance as my older tube. Hard to believe it is from the same company. Mostly a waste of time. Will have to try something else.

Me and my kids were on the slopes with our plastic sled when they crashed so hard after the 3rd ride down.Another family lent us this tube so our kids could still enjoy the outing. We understood that we needed to upgrade our kids for safety reasons. Theses tubes work great.They have a pull pug to deflate and a larger opening to inflate with a pump or blowing them up.My kids fit perfect in the tube and an adult can fit in one as well.Glad to have these!

Overall it's not a BAD tube. However the canvas style bottom makes it a very slow snow tube and the handles are cheap and tiny for such a large tube. My hands aren't huge and I could barely get my fingers into the handles. They do survive my 200lbs jumping onto and everything I threw at it but this is far from a speedy tube which is why I gave it 3 stars

This snow tube far exceeded our expectations! The material is very sturdy. It's easy to inflate, remains inflated, and provides hours of fun for both kids and adults. The UFO design is so cool! The only slight drawback is that the hand grips are a bit close to the tube. If they were raised up a bit higher, they would be easier to grip, at least for an adult. I would not hesitate to purchase this snow tube again.
