Works perfectly with the Baofeng K5 Plus radio!
This cable worked perfectly with my Baofeng K5 plus radio. Even though it came with a mini CD for the drivers, my Windows 11 Home machine detected it perfectly so no need to load any drivers. Programmed my radio with Chirp and was very pleased with the flawless results.

Great product it worked amazing for my radio I was programming and super easy to use compared to some of the wireless programmer things highly recommend getting and great quality of the cable u will need to download a programming software but amazing

Decent enough for the price; Horrible software
Purchased this cable to program my new BAOFENG radio. Out of the box it appears normal enough, decent quality, decent length. I was able to use the cable to program my radio from my MacBook with no real issues. So as far as the cable goes, it's a win. And the price is quite good.The software they include is another story. On a mini-CD is a install package for the CHIRP software. I took the time to install it (on a Windows laptop) and found that it's not been localized for the English language. So...it's essentially useless for me. I was able to do some quick searches and came up with some far better quality CHIRP packages that work, actually quite well.So, all in all, if you look at this product from the point of view of 'buying a cable' - It's a good product at a good price.If you're factoring in the included software, it's disappointing.

WORKS! + HARD To Misplace
I purchased this to replace an old Cable with an obsolete chip. On my old Dell Optiplex running Win 10 it Works Perfectly! I Copied the current programming off of 4 different models of Baofeng radios with no - Real - problems.Ne SURE the cable is Fully Inserted In the Radio
