Q: How often does one of the “punches” get stuck? (In the down position)

The only time I have had it get stuck or jammed has been when I am cutting plastic (vinyl or plastic normal 3 hole punched dividers or pockets I have “converted” to use with my happy planner). It tends to be the thinner vinyl pockets which 1 of maybe every 5 would cause it to stick. I have always been able to easily have it pop back. Never had it jam with paper.

Q: Does this line up with Happy Planner hole punches?

The straight part is a bit shorter than the happy planner punched pages. So if you are using mixed pages from HP, they will not be even.

Q: Will this work to add paper to a spiral bound notebook?

No. This works with disc bound notebooks.
