Forney 53119 Deerskin Leather Driver Suede Lined Women's Gloves, Small

I ordered both the Forney 53166 Pigskin Leather Driver Premium Lined Women's Gloves, Small and the Forney 53119 Deerskin Leather Driver Suede Lined Women's Gloves, Small. Both fit my short but sturdy hands well.The 53166 Pigskin gloves were a bit tight in the fingers at first but they have loosened with use. Since they are a heavier leather, they remain less flexible. Great for throwing firewood around, not designed for dexterity. A problem, as others have mentioned, is their smell. Very unpleasant and petrochemical to me though my husband barely notices it. I have resorted to storing them on the porch. Keeping them inside made the whole surrounding hallway smell. The smell is lingering on my hands as well. I'm hoping this smell eventually dissipates from these hard working, protective gloves.The 53119 Deerskin gloves are immediately comfortable, flexible, and wonderful. I haven't given them much of a workout yet. I hope they turn out to be as hard working as they are comfortable. Very comfortable and they keep my hands nice and toasty warm. I have very small hands, so it was nice to find them in my size. But, if you're looking for actual "work" gloves, keep looking. These are a lightweight glove and not intended for heavy working. They're great for raking leaves on a chilly day, or even shoveling snow when winter really settles in. But, I would not recommend them for heavier work chores, such as cutting, splitting and stacking your annual supply of firewood. The deerskin leather is just too thin to take that kind of rough abuse, and I have the feeling that the fingertips would be the first area of the gloves to bite the dust. Outside of that, they are good quality gloves and very comfortable to wear.

These gloves are functional and warm.I buy a pair of these every year, so good review, but...The small size has been unavailable for a loooooong time! Please bring them back.

I bought two pairs of these gloves. one for me and one as a gift. In the first week the seems busted out of both pairs. seriously disappointed.

these feel wonderful but are sizing is wayyy off...ordered a women's medium and it is a very very small...couldn't even get my fingers all in through the wrist opening...ridiculous! I see others have commented on small sizing...one would think the company would take note.

my friend is happy with them however as we are roommate I understood the color of them changed and beside the get rubbed easily

I work on a ranch and I have bought many styles of leather work gloves over the years. Although these are advertised as "driver" gloves... they are by far the best winter WORK gloves I've ever purchased. They are thick enough to keep my hands warm yet thin enough that I can work without being hindered. They are durable, I've been using them a lot and see no wear or defects. I am so glad to have come across these on the web ....it's hard to find good women's work gloves....Thanks Forney I will definitely buy these again if they ever wear out!

Soft, warm, sized for women, and holding up to farm work. The insulation is fluffy, so there's not the best dexterity, but the sueding of the leather helps considerably. Not waterproof or even resistant, so if that is needed get yourself some kind of protectant/mink oil/etc. The light color has gotten discolored with the farm work, but that is irrelevant for me -- and I didn't put any sort of protection on the leather so of course they get dirty and darker. I use them for dog walking and driving too, since they are so warm and comfy.

The women's deerskin gloves are the perfect winter driving glove. They are warm and comfortable, and grip the steering wheel nicely. I have 2 pairs and keep one pair in the car and one pair in the house. The quality and stitching are top notch. I was looking for a reasonably priced substitute for a pair of sheepskin gloves and was thrilled to find these. I wear a women's medium. I would love to find a women's large for a friend and hope the gloves will be available in the future.

Awesome gloves! I use them while riding and the wind doesn't get threw. They also look good!

It was mailed to us in a timely fashion. At first appearances and first wear was very lovely and comfortable. But they wore through quickly. Didn't last well.
