Nice but not as "special" as claimed...
This blanket weighed in right at 24 oz. as claimed, and the size was also as claimed. The included snaps make it nice to wear as a sort of poncho. But the loft is nothing special - it's about 7/8" which is good down to about 50 degrees F. I compared it to an inexpensive 650 down sleeping bag from Etowah Outfitters and the loft is about the same - loosely folding each over so there were 8 layers and fluffing them both up, the total loft height measured was just about 7". The Etowah sleeping bag has a full zipper and is also lighter at 18 oz. for about the same width but it's also shorter at just 70".It would be nice if they offered this with a full zipper - then it could be used as a summer sleeping bag. Being able to close up keeps any cold drafts out. But this puffer blanket is fine to use like a quilt, just not in temperatures lower than about 50 F in my opinion. Of course some people sleep colder, some sleep warmer. The one advantage this has is synthetic insulation which means you don't need to worry as much about getting it wet and losing its ability to insulate. But this adds about 6 oz. compared to a similar down bag. For most people this is not a big deal. It's still nice enough that I'd buy it again - but I'd be even more likely to buy it again if it had a full zipper instead of just the snaps.

Filling not adequate for the price
This blanket was purchased with the intention of using it as a summer top quilt in a hammock. For that purpose, it is useful. I don't know the lowest temperature that it can handle, but I would be nervous to test that out unless i was in my back yard.Size: You can see in the picture that it is about 3/4 the size of a Full size bed. I would best describe this as a Twin blanket or comforter.Insulation: what is PW 700??? I tried to research this online with little results. Even the description doesn't REALLY say what this stuff is. It describes it as having best of both worlds as that of DOWN and synthetic. Who are we to argue unless we cut it open to see. It IS lightweight and very packable. The issue i have with the filling is that it is sparse. Some squares it seems to somewhat fill the space, yet in other squares, it looks like it has migrated, bunched up, or doesn't have as much filling. See the picture where we held it up in front of a bright window. It would seem to me, and i am no expert in insulation, that the parts that do have good filling will be warmer than that of the squares that do not. This will cause some parts to retain more heat than others given you the feeling of cold spots. Certainly the huge gaps in insulation between squares around the sewing seams will allow heat to escape easily.Comfort: absolutely comfortable. Great feeling against the skin. Makes a great throw blanket on a couch too. The material feels cery soft, leaving anyone to question its durability. I have come in contact with many modern fabrics that feel quite soft and comfortable, yet are extremely strong, so I wont speculate on this blanket.Price: No. too much in my opinion. This blanket has a duplicate version sold under another name “hound something”. Exact same blanket leaving me to assume it is imported and given a brand name. This puffer wolf is the higher price between the two At the time of this review.

Love this blanket
Pros: Held this up to the light and mine has a lot of fill in the baffels. They did good job. It's fluffy more than competitors. It's easy to clean and disinfect. Way more easy than cotton. The color is absolutely beautiful. It's very light weight. It is amazingly soft and feels pleasurable in a stunning way.Cons: The entire snap, parka idea is clumbsy and it is weird to try to wear under a parka. Also this is difficult to compress down into a sack because it's so amazingly warm and fluffy. It for sure is warm. It's also longer than most others which is good. I solved the compression challenge by binding it with a soft string when folded so no problem. I do love this blanket.Another thing is that I should have spent money on a 950 fill professional top quilt because I know I am in love with quilts now. This item made me fall in love with down quilts. For the price, with this blanket, you will be warm and happy.

Nice warm blanket.
We bought this blanket for camping since it was good size and lightweight but the more I use it the better I like it. It is soft, nice color and warm. The longer you leave it out of the stuff sack the fluffier it is. My dog even likes it. Well made and great value.

Small and not warm
This product was ok. I thought I could you’d it as a blanket instead of packing a big throw blanket , I was wrong. It did not cover my body and it did not keep me warm. This is more kid size then grown adult. Other than that it packed down perfectly and I loved the color. I do plan to use it in the future but not as a substitute to a normal throw blanket. Maybe they can make this in a xxxl it would be better.
