I opened the train to check it out to ensure that there wouldn't be any disappointments on Christmas morning. I set up the train and after the train went about a foot down the track the traction tire on one side came off. After close inspection, it was apparent that one of the traction tires on one side of the train was much different than the other. These traction tires are supposed to be the same size and in this case, they weren't. I considered returning it to Amazon and ordering a replacement however Amazon was showing that the item is now no longer in stock. I, therefore, reached out to a local authorized dealer for Lionel trains and ordered the proper size tire according to the owner's manual. Because of the tight timeline to Christmas Day, I didn't reach out to the seller to resolve this issue.I got the proper sized tire today and installed it. The picture shows the correct tire (smaller one) inside the one that was originally installed. The second shows the original tire before it was replaced.After the tire was replaced the train operated as expected and will work on Christmas morning!

My first order come with open box, looking like was return before and truth enough didn't work as it should, after I got new set in original and unopen box train works just fine. Overall happy with the product and would recommend

Me gustó mucho el tren. Es un poco ruidoso pero está increíble para fans de HP. Altamente recomendable! Y como recomendación, luce mucho más adquiriendo pista adicional. Solo tuve un detalle con una parte que supuestamente venía incluida, de acuerdo al instructivo, pero no era así. Escribí a la empresa y nunca recibí respuesta. el departamento de Servicio al Cliente de Amazon fue muy amable y me ayudó con esto, pero la empresa de Lionel... fatal... La información contenida en el instructivo es muy limitada pero podrá armar el tren sin problemas, solo mucho cuidado con el manejo del tren ya que sí está un poco delicado. La App para manejar el tren vía teléfono está sencilla pero funciona muy bien! Fue una excelente idea ponerle foquitos a la pista y que el tren paseara alrededor de todos los regalos de Navidad!

Product is for pleasure around our Christmas tree. Before you start the train moving, as it sits on the tracks, there is an annoying 'beep' that I cannot stop. It does stop once the train is moving. I need to find out how to cancel it. Also, lighting is good. Very good reproduction of the real train in the Harry Potter movies.
