Polar RCX3 GPS Heart Rate Monitor and Sports Watch

Delivered in 3 days on free shipping so very happy with the seller.Brilliant heart rate monitor with separate GPS and synchronisation dongle included. Been on a few runs and uploaded to the polarpersonaltrainer website. GPS tracks brilliantly and accurately on the map and this ties in with altitude, speeds and heart rate.The only down side is that you don't get the GPS G5 armband included, only a belt clip, however I have just clipped this to the watch strap and it'll do until I get the armband. The GPS speed seems to lag by a second or 2 but to be fair the GPS sensor is on my wrist and waving back and forth like mad however it seems very accurate and I've had no problems with signals when in built up areas or around buildings.5 different training views showing 2 or 3 details covering heart rate, zones, speed, pace, distance, lap times, etc so there should be one that'll suit you.All in all, I've had polar before, am loving this and will be happy to recommend it to anyone. Well worth the investment.

The product I received had been used, therefore I never even tried it. I sent it immediately back, this seems to be the norm, as quite a few reviews state that they have also received a used item. What a shame as it looks good and from the reviews I have read it seems to be a good product. I find it hard to understand why Amazon think it is OK to sell a used product as new. This a very expensive piece of kit, I will buy elsewhere .

Its a shame as its a good product, but the hart rate monitor stopped working, so we have been in touch with polar who are sending us a new one.

I spent quite a bit of time researching the various Polar and Garmin models before getting this one.I've now used it for a few workouts and it's a superb piece of kit. You need to go through the instructions thoroughly and spend a few minutes entering your personal data before you use it, and then you're ready to go. The watch itself is slimline and very comfortable. Keeping the GPS unit external means you get 8 months battery life out of the watch. I have a 2 week trekking holiday planned this summer and the models with built in GPS would have been useless as the watch wouldn't last the duration of the holiday. A lot of the time I don't need to record GPS data, so I prefer to have a separate unit with it's own battery.The amount of data it gives you during and after your workout is excellent - the zone pointer display is very useful and covers all 5 training zones. You can then upload your workout to the Polar website which allows you to look at your workouts in more details and track your training progress.Unfortunately the watch I got looked like it was a customer return, so I sent it back and got another from elsewhere.

This watch is exactly what i have been looking for my training. Prolem being it had obviously already been used and the heart rate monitor was broken when i recieved it.bit of a mixed bag on Amazons service here!! they are quick to resolve and very helpful - But I think its unacceptable to be sending out returns as newthe product itself is first class and by far oneof the most accurate GPS i have used

Seems good, this is my first GPS watch so I can't really compare, however, I like the seperate GPS becuase the battery life is massive and it means the whatch is nice a small and light. The Polar trainer web site is good too, GPS takes a couple of minutes to sync, but thats fine when you know about it Chest strap not a compfortable as the older cheaper Polar, but its ok

This my fifth heart rate monitor, and my second GPS watch.My first GPS watch was a Garmin which came from amazon and two days later went back to be replaced by this. This Polar has been a dream to use. I have been able to set it up, sync to the online polar software (so I can review my workouts) with only the most cursory of glances at the instructions.The big buttons are just what you need when your running and/or have sweaty hands, but the watch itself isn't overly chunky. It picks up its GPS signal in less than 30 seconds (and I live in a town) and so far, I just wouldn't fault it.I am a personal trainer and when clients ask me product advice for heart rate or GPS products I will be very happy to steer them towards this product.

product received on time and is conform to description.However, I think it has been used before.The watch was already configured in French and the GPS has a tiny scratch at the front.For this reason, I give only 1 star.This is not acceptable for a product at this price.
