Super Unit
I received the new G2 version and I have to say this thing is great. It's much quieter than I imaged. Anything below wide open is silent. I'm a real stickler for noise and enjoy silence - this meets the mark. I read a lot of reviews comparing dba noise but that was only part of it. I had to try it to be sure. Well, it's dead silent once you set it up. I'm using ASUS Fan Expert 4 to run it. The other thing that I like is it runs wide open when you start it up with a 24 pin jumper to prime the system. That blew out all the air completely and super fast! Just keep a hand on the power switch because it will suck down the reservoir fast. Once you get the reservoir to hold water, slowly tilt the case to clear remaining air bubbles and your done. I've only had it a few days but so far super excellent.

Cools very well
Installed in an AMD powered rig and keeps everything cool without issues. Wanted an install that could be customized with regard to hose length and component positions. Mounted the reservoir ans pump on the outside of a tower case and the radiator inside at the top. Cut the hoses to fit and filled with coolant and has been working for many months without issues.

Awesomeness me pump with the little noise.
My old pump developed a crack in the pump threads cause it it to leak so I bought this as a replacement. Have been using it now for nearly 2 months and love it. Only thing I wish was different was sleeved cables instead of the colored individual cables it comes with.

Excellent pump/res combo for mid tower builds
Pros: Quiet operation, PWM controlled, included res is a good size for most casesCons: A bit expensive, molex powerThis res/pump combo is great for first-time water coolers. It makes your loop a bit less complicated because you don't have to worry about hooking up a separate reservoir to the pump. The included res is about 200mL in capacity and should be enough for most cases. It's small enough to fit in ATX towers, yet large enough so you don't have to refill it all the time. The included D5 pump is what you would expect - it's quiet and powerful enough for most custom loops. I'm using this in a loop with 2 radiators, a CPU block, and 2 GPU blocks with no problems. My only complaint is that it is powered by an outdated molex connector; I would rather see a SATA connection instead. Regardless, this is a solid res/pump and it's highly recommended for first-time builders.

2 years, still running smoothly....
I've been using this pump for 2 years, it still works like it should. EKWB builds quality components. I have my CPU and GPU in the same loop, I've never had any heat issues, and with 2 different computers. Quiet and smooth.

Does not come with pictured 120mm mount
I had to drill holes in my case as a result of the pictured mount not being included in the box.

Missing parts
Didnt include mounting mechanism, all I got was the rubber gasket. I cant find one sold separately either...

Great performing pump!
So quiet! Flows a ton of fluid but runs so quiet, you wouldn't know it!
