Suction not as good as the original one. But of cause the original one casts 3 or 4 times more.

Definitely not as good as the original Fluffy. The gears are louder, the unit is bigger, and the brush spins slower but it does the job just fine for me.

So, I saw this Dyson fluffy and I was so gonna by the entire machine. It was the short battery life and the holding the trigger that put me off. But I wanted this head. I scoured the internet looking for a vacuum with a head like this. There aren’t many. So, I started looking at models that looked similar to the Dyson. I examined the attachments and shape of the Dyson and competitors very closely. I took a leap of faith. I ordered this head and a buture jr500. Fits and operates perfectly. The head that came with my vacuum is so so and low mode is not very powerful. When I put this head on my vacuum, it transformed low mode into a thing of beauty. I have three dogs and two children. I always wear flip flops inside because there is always crap sticking to my feet. I vacuumed barefoot for the first time tonight. It was wonderful. I have all vinyl floors, which is why I wanted this head. It’s a game changer for me.

It's a good replacement if you don't want to spend 150 bucks on the Dyson one. However, you get what you pay for. The motor, bearings, plastic, and bearings are all much cheaper quality. The motor does not spin the roller as fast or strong, the plastic is low quality ABS so it will crack eventually. The design of the suction "chamber" is different and does not suck the same as the origional on the low setting. Also it has plastic wheels where as the origional has a single felt wrapped roller in the back to protect delicate hard flooring.In summary it's a good replacement for the money. But don't think this is the same for cheaper. There is a reason Dyson products are expensive It's not a scam like many people think. Quality parts, plastics, design and engineering result in higher cost. This is nothing more than a Chineese remake and you get what you pay for thats why I gave it 4 stars.

I was happy to find a replacement hardwood head for my Dyson and loved it in the beginning. I use this more or less daily in my kitchen and for grass etc dragged in by the dog, so it gets a lot of use, am now at about 10 months out and it is definitely not working as well- more resistant feeling/not as smooth when I push it and change directions, etc so I'm guessing you save $ on the replacement but if you use it a lot you just have to buy more of them...
